Thanks for the detailed comment! I definitely was in a bumrush to get the core loop working before the deadline. I'll get a QOL update(B button/Menu stuff) out after the jam ends and will be continuing development past that! (building and crafting should be completed sometime next month I've already got it basically working just need to do some tweaks.) Also the raccoon is the mascot from Project Zomboid and a reference to that but also I just got a kick out of the idea of a raccoon biting and sand attacking his way through the apocalypse. Thanks! Yea the zomboid philosophy is "this is how you died". There is an end to the demo though if you manage to find your rival in every town it unlocks the last location and credits outro

Cool game. The desync between the objects on the road and the road itself is distracting but overall controls are smooth and fun

Definitely! I'm working on a zombie survival/2D Battle Gameboy style game.  Let me know if you can do pixel tune stuff. This is my current placeholder(or final) world music as an example of the vibe I'm looking for A Midnight Bat. If your down your welcome to join and I'll send you the current build. (Pictures from the build 3 days ago so has come a long way.)

Thanks for the feedback! It's definitely loosely based on a super old web flash game called stickrpg I used to play in middle school. Stocks unlocking linked to certain progression is planned so I'm glad you agree! Cheers thanks for playing I'm constantly updating so come back in a few days/weeks to see how it progresses! 

Awesome feedback tysm! A few of these were already on my notes for the next patch! Stocks are not completely random they have different volatility/floor/ceilings but it is only the quests that can affect them going up or down 100% (if you buy at the floor you will always make money)  Cheers thank you again for the great feedback.

I decided to give myself a goal of finishing a web/ios/android idle game by my birthday and am happy to say I'm on track to having a MVP done in the next few weeks. Planning on starting by launching a free demo/ steam page by the end of the month. I'm a solo developer so I'd really appreciate anyone taking the time to tryout my latest demo and give me some feedback before I launch the demo on steam!

EarthXChange is a solo-dev idle stock market trading game meant to be played at your own pace. Leaderboards are planned, and while sound design is still in progress (non-existent), most of the demo content is complete. If you are up to it feel free to post your run data here with any comments!
