For some reason I haven't been able to get this to run on ZXBaremulator (128k mode); after I start the tape it loads for a while before eventually flashing red and blue and then finally stopping on a red screen and I can't get past it -- just wondering if I'm doing something wrong?

This is awesome! I actually had a similar idea when I first saw the option to make a top down shooter--like also a game where you're trying to outrun the cops, but you did it much better. I love the art style and the menus are really well done.
