Hello Doctor_Succubus!

I'm part of a community called PortMaster.

It is a non-commercial project with aim of porting games to multiple handheld Linux devices running custom versions of Linux.

You are making really charming little games. I would like to ask if you would allow us to distribute the game files from your Itch games with their ports. Otherwise gamers would have to download the game on http://itch.io and add the file manually to pocket Linux devices (they either don't know how or don't have PC). With game files included game could be installed with a single click, directly from devices over WiFi.

Thank you for making these games, if you are interested in PortMaster, here is a link: https://portmaster.games

Hello phocatech!

Stach Attack is one of my favorite games from the Siemens java phone era so I really like this game and Fox Post.

I would like to ask if you would allow us to distribute the game files from these two games with their ports. Otherwise gamers would have to download the game on http://itch.io and add the file manually (they either don't know how or don't have PC). Thank You for your permission for this amazing game.
I will definitely credit you for game AND for taking time to make a version that better suits our retro handhelds. Please keep making awesome games!

In that case I wanna ask you one thing:

I'm part of a community called PortMaster.

It is a non-commercial project with aim of porting games to multiple handheld Linux devices running custom versions of Linux. We just found a new way to run Godot 4 games on these devices. I would like to ask if you would allow us to distribute the game files. Otherwise gamers would have to download the game on http://itch.io and add the file manually (they either don't know how or don't have PC). With game files included game could be installed with a single click, directly from devices.

Thank you for confirming that adaptable screen ratio in Godot 4 is possible, if you are interested in PortMaster, here is a link: https://portmaster.games

Success! Combination of keep_height and Window Width/Height Override makes this game run full screen on 4:3 device! Thank You for implementing this!

Do you plan to keep this version of game online and make upgraded version with 2 player and arcade modes with a different name (something like Surge Protectors Duo/Duel or something like that)?

Wow, you already made an update! Tested buttons on end screen and they work!
But, it looks like keep_height alone isn't enough. You should do next:

1. In Godot 4, toggle on advanced settings (upper-right corner of the project settings window);

2. Make your "Viewport Width" and "Viewport Height" same (if your game resolution was 1280x720, make Width be 720 too);

3. Make your "Window Width Override" and "Window Width Override" have same values like "Width" and "Height" in the beginning (1280x720).

This should allow you to resize width while keeping height. Additionally you can toggle during test "Resizable", click on Play and try to drag window to see if this works then turn it of after test.
Thank you for your effort, hope this works out!

This game is amazing, its a real gem. Even got it to work on my Linix retro device.
There are only 2 problems that keep it from being perfect for playing on it:
1. Game over screen cannot be controlled with keys, only mouse! Please add them!
2. If you set in Godot settings to use Aspect as "keep_height" it would allow devices with 4:3 screen to zoom in to the height and cut left/right sides of screen to fill whole screen while not hurting 16:9 screens.
Thank You for making this addicting game. Good luck with it!

Hello Broelbrak, I'm part of a community called PortMaster. It is a non-commercial project with aim of porting games to multiple handheld Linux devices running custom versions of Linux. I love Junji Ito's work and this game captures unnerving feel of his style. I would like to ask if you would allow us to distribute the game files. Otherwise gamers would have to download the game on itch.io and add the file manually (they either don't know how or don't have PC). I look forward to hearing back from you, if you are interested in PortMaster, here is a link: https://portmaster.games/

Thank You for making this great game!

Amazing game.
