Was fun playing and getting the hang of the gameplay and the pacing, game is well thought out and just the right balance of fun and rage ha, good stuff!
Love the unique concept of this game, and the art style is really nice! Loved the lighting elements used as well.
Took me a bit of time to understand the gameplay (but that is me playing games in general ha) so had to restart a few times due to not binding correctly xD
I also encountered a bug with the area camera switching that if the player moves too suddenly between areas then the camera doesn't follow and the player is now off-screen, which fixes itself if the player navigates back into the room with the camera view, but after the fall it is very hard to navigate back and found myself having to restart.

Very fun game! Love the aesthetic as well. Love throwing the enemies around and moving around with the cactus grapple. Played for a while but couldn't get to further floors, most definitely a skill issue ha. Did notice when I try to grab a cactus I could either get randomly grappled to a random cactus and drift into a room, or get stuck just outside the land area and die instantly. Good stuff!
Nice game! Like the idea of needing to balance out walking or pace with horse speed and the limitation coming in with the random events impacting the player. Did get consistently stuck at a campfire sequence where the game stopped progressing and it kept prompting to sleep though, also wasn't sure how the spending system affected the gameplay as I bought a heal but I didn't see the horse/person stats change. Might have missed some info though. Hope that made sense!
Thank you for playing my game! Yeah I definitely put optimization in the back of my mind when making this game which was a very poor choice, have learnt my lesson there. I am currently going through and reoptimizing, plus will add a menu that allows the player to control camera sensitivity. Thank you for your feedback!
