Art Style is very nice and polished. I felt the ranged weapons were very powerful, I got whooped handily after switching to the daggers.

This has some great arcade fundamentals. I found it quite addicting and was motivated to get to the end. I only found two secrets (thorn bomb + the bow for her hair). The level design fell a little flat towards the end, but I think that can easily be fixed. A room with the zombie and harpy enemy types overlapping (or just generally more enemy types and screens where you need to contend with both simultaneously) would be cool!
Intriguing little game! The long car ride to the hotel was fun. The camera being able to detect ghosts was cool (i found two, not sure if there are more or not). The time of day system was well done- the way the light streamed into the hotel entrance was very cool. I am interested to see how this progresses.
It's actually a handmade engine, so I can guarantee shaders are compiled at startup. Whatever's causing it, I'd like to get to the bottom of the poor performance. Who knows who else is experiencing something similar. You can add me on discord here: https://discord.gg/bUG8MGB7 . If you have some time to troubleshoot 1-on-1 I would greatly appreciate it!
Windows. I can definitely walk around and do stuff the graphics are just bugged out. I have a 6900xt. Here is my log: https://pastebin.com/ea2RWc5X
Updating my gpu driver's now. Will see if that helps at all.
Oh yeah that definitely looks bad! I've tested on both my main PC which has an AMD gpu and also a laptop with an NVIDIA gpu so I thought I was pretty covered but I guess not. D: Do you mind giving me your exact gpu specs? The game doesn't enforce it but it relies on some opengl 4.3+ stuff. There should also be a file that was created called "GUNSWINGER.log" which may have helpful errors.
The graphics are good. The sounds are GREAT. There are a lot of movement mechanics and I forgot most of them and was overall terrible at flying. Even so, I was able to complete the combat portion with about 20 deaths. I found the camera behavior when going straight up towards the sky and straight down kind of erratic. I think you're trying to prevent the camera from inverting completely but honestly it would be kind of cool to be able to fly upside-down. :)
