I didn’t consider that as a problem whilst developing

If you die frequently, the transition (and the back and forth) get’s really fast which make me a bit dizzy :D

is it more to do with how they are utilised

This one :)

Thanks for playing and providing the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it. :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback! :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We will look into how to improve the shooting and the balancing with a future update. This seems to be the main issue people notice! :)

Thanks for playing and providing the feedback! We’ll look into the aiming part for a future update. :)

That’s a hilarious game with incredibly cool art! It’s also great that you’ve included a real leaderboard.

It’s a funny game once I got the hang of it!

I love space games, so this was fun, but it gets a bit repetitive, and it took me a bit to understand the mechanic. Great art, though! Only some more sound effects would be nice :)

This is a cool and fun game! I suppose you could even incorporate some horror elements here, given the intriguing atmosphere.

Very funny game, good job!

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Might want to give the satellite health or something cause you can use that thing as a Beyblade and just murder all the aliens lmao, great work!

Good point, thanks! There will definitely be an update after the voting period, which will tackle this issue!

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

I found it way easier just to ram the UFO’s because of how many there were.

That’s a good point which might help to pinpoint the adjustments needed to further balance the game. Maybe we need fewer enemies with more health to reduce the tendency to just ram into them.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Though, like someone else also said, I found just ramming into the ships to be more effective than shooting at them.

Yeah, there is some balancing issue. We will look into this, but as mentioned in some other comment, it’s not as easy to find the right parameters. 😂

What would be cool I think, is to maybe add different kinds of enemy spaceships that have different properties e.g. more health or a different trajectory.

That’s a good idea, thanks! The bug and feature list for version 1.1 gets bigger 😂

This game is incredibly enjoyable, with a simple yet effective game loop!

A bit rough and I got stuck at some point, but I liked the dinosaur, very cute.

Unfortunately, it’s a bit rough and I missed a tutorial, so it took me a while to figure out what to do. Maybe you could add some text in the game description; this would already help some people :)

This game is very cute, and the concept is also quite unique. I enjoy this cozy and relaxing game!

Cool game, I see the need that the spin mechanic needs some slight delay, but it feels a bit clunky like this. Not sure if there is a way to make it more responsive but keeping the mechanic at the same time. But in general, a very well-made game and cool idea!

Cool idea and very good for a first game. As mentioned by others, the controls are a bit janky, and I didn’t quite understand the charge mechanic, so I was not able to further proceed. Also, the respawn effect (i.e. the reset of the camera) makes me dizzy as it gets very shaky. I think a simple transition/black overlay and respawn would be better :)

Silly and funny game. I liked the upgrades. Art-wise, also very good!

Cool idea, it definitely feels weird without a D button, but once I got the hang of it, it was fun!

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

I wanted to try the tutorial again but I couldn’t find an option to.

Yeah, some other people run into the same issue. Next time, we should include an option to replay the tutorial.

I found the voice pretty distracting

Good to know! Maybe this is something we should add to the options to turn off. I’m pretty lazy with reading in games, which is why I prefer a voice over. This is why I often default to TTS/Voice Overs :D

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Yeah, we need to adjust some parameters to balance the game a bit more. It’s not easy to find a good balance. Maybe we also need to introduce some difficult levels as suggested in some other feedback :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We are glad you liked the art :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Yeah, we need to adjust the difficulty parameters a bit so ramming is not the default behavior. Maybe reducing the fuel or increasing the cooldown of the fuel :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We will look into the aiming part for a future update :)

Ah, true. For fine-tuning the wheel, it might be imprecise. Maybe you can utilize the other buttons on the keyboard (+ and -, maybe), but maybe it’s also more of an issue for me than for others :D

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We are glad you enjoyed it! :)

Thanks for playing and providing feedback! Gaming is quite subjective, and it’s challenging to determine what is objectively correct. I understand that aiming isn’t as intuitive as anticipated, but I don’t find it particularly difficult either. However, I suppose some individuals may find it easier.

Cool game, I think adjusting the gravity with LMB and RMB is a bit weird, maybe other inputs might be better (e.g. mouse wheel or so). Otherwise, I like the mechanic and the idea!

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We will look into improving the aiming in the future :)

The visuals are fun. I kind of miss an objective, but I guess that’s the joke of the game. Still, it was satisfying getting rid of these mosquitoes :)

I had some visual bugs on my side, not sure if it’s only for me:

Anyway it seems fun but the movement is a bit difficult for me. But sound and art are nice!

As mentioned by others, some short tutorials are always helpful. Also, it was a bit too much text/dialog for my taste at the beginning, but maybe it’s just me and I’m just too lazy to read :D

Otherwise, the wheat cutting mechanism is fun, but I also kind of missed the objective of the game.

Fun game, a bit short, but you could easily add more levels in the feature. The only thing I was missing was a bit of challenge. Of course, chasing a high score is fine, but maybe adding a timer, or something like this, would already help :)

Cool idea! Would be nice if you could somehow stay in orbit or at least have to make sure you stay in orbit

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Good point, maybe we could improve the shooting (especially the aiming) and, as you suggested, put the shoot key closer to the movement keys. This would actually also help with accessibility, I could imagine.

Thank you very much for playing and the feedback! We are glad you liked it!

one thing I will mention is that aiming can be a bit tough and there were a few small bugs

Yeah, the radial shooting is a bit rough, so precise aiming is not ideal, but some rapid fire works most of the time. If you notice any breaking bugs, feel free to let us know, so we can fix them once the rating period is done! :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Ship can kill enemies with touching, so I can just spin to win :^)

Yeah, that’s possible and some remnant of the previous iteration with a bit of a different idea. This is why we added the fuel gauge to the player, so they cannot just spin and win easily, but I guess we need to slightly adjust the parameters to tune the difficulty to further suppress such behavior. But we ended up with so many parameters it’s not as trivial to find the correct set :D
