This game has potential, but I found myself more frustrated than having fun most of the time. The lack of ANY instructions is borderline insulting, like you're supposed to already know all of the mechanics.
The worst part for me besides the lack of any tutorial was the "falling segment" of the platform with the other character. It's impossible to avoid obstacles you can't even see coming, and you can't dodge them without getting hit and instakilled. It's sheer luck that you can make it past them or the enemies.
The player is not a mind reader, don't just throw them into the fray without any sort of guidance.
Despite all of my criticisms, I WANT to like this game. I like the idea and the pixel art...I just want to be able to play it. Don't isolate the average gamer by making it needlessly hard. I'll keep an eye out for its release, and give it a play when it hopefully is toned down a bit.
