Only just found out about the game being put on hiatus, it sucks because this is suck a good game, doubly so for me since this is now the second amazing AVN that I only recently discovered that's stopping development, there is hope that Atemsiel will eventually come back to Stormside and I hope that you do Atemsiel, I get why your taking a step back I understand and empathise with your plight to find motivation now that your passion feels more like work, taking a break will hopefully do you some good mentally, and as I've seen others mention, I wouldn't mind if Stormside became a more linear story without the branching paths that would certainly take a load of your back but would also change the game a lot from your original idea which would also suck, potentially working on only 1 branch at a time could help you get into a better headspace and workspace and allow the story to reach the end point (or one of them at least) which in turn might help with the other branches making them slightly less taxing ultimately more people helping you would be ideal but I guess that cant be helped right now, i would offer to help if I knew anything about Ren'py.
I do hope you don't completely end up abandoning or forgetting about Stormside, it is fantastic and if I remember rightly from the patreon post you did say you also like the characters you've made, I hate seeing a good game die so lets hope you can rekindle your passion for Stormside.

I just recently found out about Cosy Cafe within the last 2 months, and it has quickly become one of if not my favourite AVNs, the writing and development of the character is beautiful, I had no idea how much content I had ahead of me for 0.13.1 starting from the beginning for the first time but i was very happy with how much there was, I've basically only been playing Cosy Cafe for the last week or two because the story got me hooked and it was all I could think of even distracting me from other games I was playing (non AVN games), I love each of the girls and cant wait for more,
My only gripe is that in some of the more emotionally tense scenes where the girls are sad/scared/crying in your arms/presence the MC doesn't do stuff like reach out and touch/stroke their face as there were a few interactions with Lucy, Akatsuki, Sarah, Hannah and Catherine that could've benefited even if only slightly from a simple reassuring hand on their face to wipe away tears or gently have them face you.
Other than that minor gripe I think I might end up replaying the game again from the start since I doubt new content will be coming any time soon since 0.13 just came out this month and based off previous release post I can see its basically 2 updates a year and I need to drown my sorrows of just finding out 2 other AVN I recently found and fell in love with are basically stopping being made which is always sad to see when the story is great.
Keep up the good work Cozy Creator you blew me away and now have me hooked on your game
