This game really forces me to use my brain! I like it - I think my only note would be to add some keyboard commands for turning lights on and off (I think that'd make it a bit easier to play)
Ngl I spent like a full minute playing with the button sounds on the main menu. Sooo satisfying. Excellent work with the visuals, sound, and game design.
(Also if I had a nickel for every game I played this jam that had me kill several pedestrians, I'd have no less than two nickels!)
Seriously though!! This is really impressive for just 3 hours, and it really did capture the feel of those old 2011 horror games. Had you just been a decade earlier, you could have easily started your own mascot horror franchise... (the fan favorite would obviously be the tsundare yellow light, who first debuted in 'stoplight 2 - yeild')
This was really fun! I'd love to see you expand on it and add turning cars, just to really capture the absolute nightmare that is traffic at my local intersection 😎
