What you could try in case you don’t have Discord: Check the file ending. It should probably be a .app that you want to open.

I got so mad after 2h of not proceeding. I searched the entire maze before for hints specifically because of one of the deaths triggered when you read the note in the room before a second time the note says pay more attention. And I literally modded the game for that part to warp me to the next map instead of the pillar/clothes room.

There is not really a cheat mode.

If you mean the one you enable at the settings guy on the bridge in the main village Then you just enable it there and win every fight. You do so much damage it instakills anything you fight against.
