Fun timing challenge! I love the ps1 style graphics. I think it would be better to just lock the camera in the 4 cardinal directions instead of having it be a free cam, I got a bit disoriented at times. Also, I think it's a little too difficult to get hit so the game ends up being a bit too easy imo

Reminds me of old text based adventure games, cool concept. The pixel art is cute, I couldn't get past the knight, the restart button didn't work either. I think the game would benefit from maybe giving the player more hints on what specific words to use or add more actions to the whitelist, I feel like commands such as (strike knight) or fight knight should at least give a hint on why they won't work and steer the player in the right direction.
Ambitious game, and nice job implementing the theme!
The game was fun! it reminds me of papers please, the voice acting was pretty funny and made it more enjoyable.
It was a little difficult to understand how to get the value of the coins but I ended up figuring it out after a couple minutes (mathing is hard, but the book helped)
The only thing I would change is making it so the dialogue isn't as easy to skip through. I tend to just want to see the whole text at once instead of letting the animation play out, but in this case sometimes I ended up skipping dialogue
Nice job overall! feel free to check out our game if you'd like.
Game feels polished, fun platformer with a simple but cool artstyle, I loved the font used and textboxes. The overall presentation is really good. Idk if it was bugged for me or something but I had no music in game, it would have been nice to have music for the boss fights at least. Also the game was a bit too easy for me, I kinda just threw myself at enemies and drain tanked them with the orbs that they drop.
Overall very good job!
Cool game! I like the concept, the music and pixel art were really good, I thought it would be a vampire survivors clone at first but I like the addition of puzzles.
If I had to give some feedback:
-It is a little difficult to understand what is going on at first, since the enemies and text kind of blend in with the background, maybe play a bit with the colors
-Difficulty wise, the first level is really hard but then it gets a little too easy towards the end (side note: I did a projectile+haste build and the game seemed to not handle that too well, I was dropping a lot of frames)
Overall good job! You have a good concept that you can build upon here.
Really fun concept! Good use of the jam theme, I loved it overall, the art and sound design is top notch. I particularly like that the music changes depending on if you're underwater or not. It also felt really polished, I found no bugs.
If I had to give a couple suggestions:
-I would add some more differentiation to each area (I got a little lost sometimes)
-If you expand the game, maybe there could be obstacles/enemies/timed challenges. Also, the movement system is really cool! I would get some crazy speed sometimes around slopes, maybe building a mechanic around that could be cool
Good concept! The intro sequence was really good and got me hyped up for the game.
The overall game feel was really nice, I like all the visual and sound effects. The music was also good and fit the theme really well.
If I had to give some feedback:
-It would be nice if the enemies had an indicator showing when and were they were going to jump (so they are easier to avoid)
-If you expand on the game adding some other weapons could make for some interesting levels
Good Job!
