I enjoyed this so much that I finished every route in one sitting! I am very familiar with who this is based on so I was delighted to see so much attention to detail being added in.

The art was also spectacular, every character sprite and CG felt polished and brimming with unique character. Hanna in particular had some amazing expressions.

Yuri so toxic it would strip paint from the castle walls, 10/10.

Sharing this from my review:

Absolutely SPECTACULAR game! I played it over the course of two sittings, one being almost 9 hours straight due to me being so invested in everything. The art? Great. The music? Lovely. The writing? AMAZING. All the romances felt so nicely paced and sweet, while the horror was so akin to old classics that it made my book loving heart so happy.

You have to 100% this game, each route adds so much more to the others that by the end you'll be thinking about everything else with so much more context and horror (as one should for a game like this).  You will not regret a moment!

This demo was fantastic! I played it on a Twitch stream and everyone enjoyed it (with a very strong reaction to one character). I do want to let you know there is a graphical glitch when talking to Mitchell. Close to the end of the first conversation with him the model glitched into a white box for a split second.

It wasn't for very long, but it was enough to startle us and cause some eye strain.

Other than that, very fun!

The demo was so nice I read it twice!

But seriously, I read this twice. Once yesterday and again today to really get my thoughts down. And my thoughts are that I like it a lot! Short, but packed with just enough interesting detail to make me curious about the full release. And knowing what I know about the original Bluebeard tale... oh man, this is going to be an INTERESTING read regardless of how close or loose you choose to follow it.

I also love how you can compare the artist's artwork in this to past games and clearly see how you've maintained the charm of past games like Oceanic Hearts but  continued to improved over the years to refine your style.

Looking forward to what comes next!

This was genuinely one of the most fun game demos I have ever played. The nostalgia hit me like a truck, it perfectly captured the time period and I love all the references that I was able to pick up. My only real issues are the hit boxes for some things feeling too small and some of the spoken dialogue not matching with the text boxes. That took me out of a few moments.

Also, I don't know why some people seem to think the portraits are AI art. Is it because of the style clash alone? This style is highly reminiscent of things like the covers of Fear Street books and old video game cover art, so I actually think it works perfectly.
