Hey Mate!  Quite a nice little game - everything is very cleanly implemented.  Menus were intuitive and clear.  The game mechanics were straightforward, and I appreciate you can start playing immediately (don't have to click through any dialogue or menus).

A couple thoughts after a few hours of playing:

  1. A notification that you have loot might be nice (a dot on the inventory icon maybe)
  2. When the main menu is minimized, it would be nice to be able to still be able to switch through the different menus in the lower area
  3. Some reference or indicator to show where you are in the world would be good - I found myself getting a bit bored, not knowing if I had explored anywhere new or not

Thats, all.  Thanks!

You UI kits always look so good!  Very nice work.

yep, thank makes perfect sense.  Thank you!

Hi Fran - thanks for the 1.6 update.  Is there a clever way to tile or ninepatch the new Background Box 07A?  I am having a hard time tiling it with the leaves in the middle.  Thanks!

edit: I moved the leaves around in a pixel art editor and it tiles just fine in GODOT.

Looks great Fran, thanks!

Hello Franuka!  I reached out to you via email about a commission for 2 additional heroes for an RPG I am developing.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!

Very nice! Are these intended for side scrollers?

These tile sets are beautiful man. I've been waiting to build the world for my RPG until I found something that inspired me. I think this is it :)

Hello!  I have been slowly incorporating your assets into my RPG, and would like to adapt some of my other self-drawn artwork (overworld tiles etc) to match the aesthetic and pallette.  Do you have a pallette that you work with that you could share?  Thanks!  PS - ever think of making a top-down main character sprite??

Ok thanks! I actually just put them into a 16x16 compatible canvas so I could tile them and that worked just fine. It's much faster to tile in Godot vs placing objects 👍

Are the individual sprites for the rocks / trees a particular size?  Have some issues importing them into Godot tilemaps (they dont match a 16x16 [px] grid).  Thanks!

This is a great looking set!

Thank you for the reply - what size are the one handed weapons for example?  Trying to figure out if these will look OK equipped by my 32x32 Sprite - they seem a little too detailed to be 32x32 [px] :)

Quick question - were these tiles meant to work with your "The Natural" tiles, or did you design these to be completely separate?

Lovely tile set and easy to use in Godot 4+.  Visual style works quite nicely with 16x16 or 32x32 sprites.

Just found these. Very nicely done. Need to start a new project so I can use them :)

Thank you!  These will work perfectly in the witchy ARPG I am developing!

What size are the sprites?

Lovely aesthetics, well done

One of the best looking UI kits on Itch :)  Using it for a retro ARPG project, and am loving it so far.  Very easy to use in Godot.

This is a beautiful set!  Makes me want to start a project just to use these tiles :)

Can you let me know where in the downloads the portraits are?  I could not find them when I searched.  Thank you!

Love the pack, just purchased for my dungeon crawler i am developing. Any portraits planned for the future?

Haha yes, UI is just as much work as anything else.  Totally worth the effort though!

Fun game. Nice job on the menus and UI, they look very polished!
