Hi everyone,

I'm currently building a game called Battle Brewers that is a mix between Overcooked and a tower defence game. In the game, you brew potions in a kitchen with up to 4 brewers, which apply a variety of different effects, from spawning goblins, causing an explosion when a unit dies, to buffing your own units.

If this sounds interesting to you, the playtest is live right now. If you decide to play, leave me some feedback here under this post through Discord or in the feedback form.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3721000/Battle_Brewers/

Questions I look to get answered

Q1: How did you experience the combat in the game? Do you feel like you have enough autonomy about if you win or lose?

Q2: Are there any changes you would make to the "cooking" mechanic (Grab ingredient -> process it -> throw in cauldron -> send to battle field)

Q3: Was the brewing mechanic (different effects based on when you add it to the cauldron) fun to play around with?

Thank you and have fun :)

I'm looking for a music composer for my 3d potion crafting game.

You can find the game on steam (although the screenshots are a bit out of date): https://store.steampowered.com/app/3721000/Battle_Brewers/

And some gameplay on my YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/@DevSivue/shorts

I am no expert in the field of music creation, but for the game, I imagine music overcooked-esque: happy and upbeat, but can also enhance the tension in the game.

For the demo I am looking for 5-6 soundtracks of 30-45 seconds.

I don't have a lot of budget, but I'm sure we can work something out if you are really interested in this project!

For more details about the music/payout and overall interest, please contact me on Discord: @sivue

Interesting, ill take a look at it after the Jam!

Nice one, love the aesthetics in the game and the game is very easy to pick up! I do miss the eat sound effect when I eat an enemy :(

Lovely puzzle game, really well polished. No hate on the person who did the music but it was a bit too repetitive for me

Super creative game mechanic really fun. I also love the sfx added and especially the win sfx just hits right. Normally I add some sort of feedback but I don't think that is necessary here. For sure the best game I played from the jam submissions (for now).

Nice gameplay which has a lot of potential, IDK if it is there but I would have liked a hitmaker cuz I'm sure what the range is on the melee attack

Lovely warioware esque game, minigames are creative although sometimes a bit vague

I don't think I fully understand the game yet but that's probably a skill issue. Nice artwork!

Love the art style, music and SFX of the sheep, I would have added a limit on how many block you could place so it would become more of a puzzle game!

Interesting concept, I think I have to get the motivation level to the green zone but I'm not sure. A small intro text of how the game would really help

Nice game, made me think of an infinite craft game in a kitchen. The tutorial at the start was really helpful have not seen many games include that well done! One thing, I don't know if it is intentional but I always have all recipes available even of the ones that I have not made yet

Wooow, nice little game. Its very satisfying using the rake and creating big bags of leaves to throw away!

Nice game, graphics look great Zelda game esque. Wish there was more of an incentive to fight enemies, something to consider if you want to develop this game further

Neat little game, gives me warioware vibes. Art is also quite nice. I would have added a little more audio feedback on the starting up the lawnmower game

Love the visuals, concept is also quite nice, I would have never put jump on W, maybe jump could be space and interact could have been E?

Love the concept, a tutorial would have been nice tho

Neat little game, SFX and music are great. Dont really understand the upgrade system mostly because I have no clue what upgrades I currently have

Thx for your review, what bug did you find?
