At least it helped me log out and log back into my Account.
Try to log out of your account and clear the cache where the email came from
Or, more simply, in the check library, there should be a version change.
Log in to your account itch.io from which you bought and try to follow the link to the game page → click Download Now (or "Install").
The current version (0.7.5) should appear at the bottom. It should be possible to change the version there.
