The music in question is this one: :)

There are more endings. :)

And if you had read the instructions, you would know how to close it.

This game is not able to "wreck your laptop", I am so terribly sorry. :)

I made the shaders using my usual tool Amplify Shader. All shaders, materials, meshes and VFXs were made in 48h (and are far from optimized, haha).

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your constructive comment, and I'm glad you like the art! ^_^

Thank you so much! Really glad you like it so much. :)
Your game looks super pretty!

The shaders were made with AmplifyShader, which is my favorite nodal shader creation tool. :D

And they don't use polar coordinates, but simple refraction/distortion, and also a bit of UV distortion with a lot of panning textures~!

As an artist, I'm not sure I enjoy this comment. Game jams are for artists as much as they are for developers. They are a way for everyone to learn new things, experiment, and simply spend a good time with friends. But thank you for giving it a try and leaving a comment, it's appreciated. :)

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. :)

You can recharge if you charge your impulse in the atmosphere of a planet or next to a comet! :)

Thank you! Super glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! Super happy you liked it!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much for the feedback!

Thank you so much! <3

Thank you so much for spreading the word for it. I'm truly grateful. :)

Thank you so much! ^_^

Not if you follow the light. :)

Thank you for the gameplay!! Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Oh my, thank you! 😅
Glad you enjoyed the experience!

Thank you! ^_^

And thank you for playing! ^_^

Thanks! But no, there's no way to enable player movement in that scene. :)

Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it! ^_^

There's a topic on the subject in the Steam forums.

Thank you! ^_^

Don't worry, I knew about it within the hour of publication. :D

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am really glad it resonated with you. :)

Yes! You can delete the folder in My Documents/Darkness. :)

Thank you! :)
The piano piece was composed and licensed by Julie Maxwell, and is available for purchase on her website:
(It is the track named "Mars Landscape: Moon Set")

Are you using the Steam or version?

I mainly used Unity, Visual Studio Photoshop and Maya. :)

I didn't originally want people to play again, but since there are achievements to unlock, I felt bad for collectors/achievers. So, you can reset your progress by deleting the folder located in My Documents/Darkness. :)

Thank you very much for trying out and reviewing WTDC!
And yes, the in-game voice is my voice. :)

Thank you! And it's alright. :)
I'm glad you got to see the end, though!

The only thing that happens if you take the bad ending is that your desktop background will change, and you will not be able to play the game again (unless you reset it).

Thank you for your kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed this experience. :)

Thank you for your kind words! I am really glad it resonated well with you. :)

Some of the files are needed to trigger some of the texts. For example, in the Dream level, with the house, the nuclear file has to be present for it to be different. :)
