I had considered trying to either having a separate button for detaching or having it play a separate animation that would show you the trajectory of the jump ahead of time and allow you to confirm, but I ended up running into issues trying to implement the feature. Thanks for the criticism and thanks for playing!

The movement felt great once mastered. It definitely took learning to fully understand what was going on, but I found the movement addictive once I got the hang of it. Finding all the golden yo-yos was also a fun little side challenge. I love the art style and character design for the game.

The game was really fun to play, love the take on the theme. I like that it would cycle through the controls in a non-random manner, so it gave you time to get used to how the control scheme flipping works. The art style was also very charming. I think the music fit the game well, and it was fun. My only issue was that at times the game was very laggy, especially as more lasers were on screen. The game had a good level of challenge to it, and it stayed fun all the way through. Excellent entry!

Good game with a cool concept. The camera was hard to control at times, and some of the UI elements sometimes clipped off the screen, but overall it was a fun little game. Someone else already stated this, but I think the game definitely would've benefited from an auto-attack rather than holding down the button. Overall, good work!

Cool little game idea, it was simple and well-designed. It would be cool to incentivize using fewer blocks, either by gaining more score for using fewer blocks or by only having a limited number of blocks per level. It also would've been cool to see more block variety, like maybe ones that reverse the spin direction. Overall, great work and good luck in the jam!

The atmosphere was great; it really encapsulated a hopelessness that comes with a chronic gambling addiction. The messages at the bottom that encouraged you to keep desperately spinning added greatly to the atmosphere of a very dark game with depressing themes overall. Well done.

Nice concept. I like how the different guns had different stopping times, and I think the potential for the cards to impact gameplay is great. Nice work overall.

Nice game that fits the concept, would've been nice to see more dungeon areas and maybe different enemies and encounters. Most of the encounters just had me pre-aligning the sword and running away, great work!

Really fun little game with a cool concept. Loved the execution of the theme. The speed running element made repeat playthroughs pretty fun. Would've been nice to have had a more universal leaderboard so I could compare my times with other players. Excellent work!

Spin spin spin spin.

Thank you very much for the well-written feedback. I'm glad you found the game to be enjoyable. Have a great rest of your day!

Thank you for playing, glad you found the game fun!

Thanks for playing, glad you found some enjoyment in it.

Very polished game, great visual and audio design as well. The concept was very creative and well executed. Overall excellent entry that used the theme well.

Really loved the visuals for the game and the audio design. The hook mechanic felt very responsive, and the levels were well designed. Overall, great entry with a great atmosphere.

Fun small game. Does get a little repetitive it would be cool to see different zombies or different patterns to make you use your revolver in different ways and really decide when it's best to use ammo. Other than that, nice visual style and a good entry.

I really like the concept of the game. The orbs feel satisfying to hit; however, maybe more of a percussive audio feedback for hitting them would be a nice touch. Simple game with good execution.

Yeah sorry about the potion system being frustrating and the lack of tooltips for the potions it was my intention to add these mechanics but I ended up trying to make too many potions with the time i had allotted so some of the most important features were unfortunately left out. I greatly appreciate you playing the game and hope you have a good rest of your day.

Thanks for uploading your gameplay I appreciate the thorough playthrough despite the bugs you encountered. I had intended to add hover descriptions for the potions similar to the effects but never had the time for it. The tutorial was also meant to be a full on demo of the dungeon. I think I was just too ambitious with the project idea given the time constraint. I appreciate your playthrough and your patience despite the issues with the game. Hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

First off thank you so much for playing my game and leaving a comment.  I hope you enjoyed the game. Sorry that you had the issues with the game loading not working. I'll have to look into that for the future. As for the items from chests they are just upgrades that are always applied they aren't usable items. So once you pick one up you get the upgrade. Thanks again for playing!

There was definitely too few amount of pills, however the concept is very cool and I love the VFX and style. Great work nonetheless.

Yeah I'll have more play testers than myself next time so hopefully small issues like these can be easily fixed. Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you found the game fun!

Yeah I saw another commenter mention coyote time so I'll definitely add small tweaks like that once the jam is over and for future projects. As for the game crash issue I noticed that as well and I'll have to fix that once the jam is over. Hope you enjoyed the game.

Thanks you so much for the detailed response. I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of playing my game. Sorry about the movement issues after reading all the comments it's definitely something I'll have to put a lot more careful thought to. Especially the part about having someone else playtest the game. Goodluck on your submission I wish you the best!

Very cool concept definitely deserves some further exploration on with the colors and mechanics.

Great game. The controls felt very fluid and the art style was great. The concept also fit very well with the theme.

Fun little game however, as other have mentioned I don't really see how it fits with the theme. Still there are some interesting mechanics here and i think revisiting the game after the jam would be a great idea.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I'll have to look into adding these features for my next game. I really appreciate the advice and hope that you enjoyed the game while you played.

Thank you very much for the feedback I appreciate it. Hope you enjoyed playing!

Very cool concept. I found the visual style to be great and the execution great as well excellent work!

Thanks for the feedback I hope you enjoyed you’re time playing!

Very fun and addicting however, I'm not sure that it fits the theme too well. Still excellent work!

Thanks for the comment it is appreciated!

Thank you for the feedback I realize now I probably should’ve had other play testers as I must of gotten used to the character speed making the game. Hope the game was fun while you were playing.

Yeah after the game submissions were over I realized this bug too it wasn’t happening in engine so I’m sorry for the issue. Hope it was still a fun experience before the error! Thanks for the comment.

Love the polish attacks feel very satisfying and punchy. The visual style is excellent as well. Great job!

Really cool mechanic using time it allowed for some great puzzles and excellent work on the visuals as well.

Very simple but also funny and engaging great work!

Game seems like it would be really cool however, it doesn't seem to start on pressing play.

Love the visual style the fight was fun and well telegraphed.
