Very fun game! I liked how the parry cooldown forces you to strategize around hitting as many bullets as possible.

thanks for playing!
during testing I found you could get over 10,000 points if you play well enough.

thank you!

Yeah, i’m planning on expanding the game and hopefully trying to implement more creepy stuff as well.

I did decide to try and spruce up the map a little bit, the first thing i’ve done is add a new path tile to guide the player a little bit on where to go.

Sorry for replying twice, but may I ask what you liked most about the combat? I just wanna know what to think about if I expand it

Thank you for the feedback!

I’m not experienced with making horror games so I understand if it wasn’t super unnerving. The other thing I did try to implement to make it more disturbing is that losing battles causes you to get eaten by the enemy that beat you.

If I try to update this game, i’ll try to add more map variety and make the game world more disturbing.

i see. The bald enemy is meant to be a miniboss to end the game, as it was pretty short. I found I accidentally set the final level as the main scene in godot, so i’ll fix that.

thank you for the feedback! I do know about the whole mixing resolutions thing, so i may try to fix that. Also, on what part did you get stuck on level 2?

Thank you for the feedback! I did know about shooting enemies offscreen and tried to fix it by making the bullets last less time, but I may have not done it right. I, to be honest, got most of the levels done in the night before submission. I may have been able to make a couple more levels, but they wouldn’t have had any unique gimmicks. i’m thinking of updating the game in order to add new levels, though.

(1 edit)

yeah, i probably set the wrong thing as the default scene in godot. Whoops :/

edit: also, another thing is the reason i added shooting mechanics was actually to make it a bit more unique, and also because i suck at making puzzle games.
