GUYS I have a new theory about the Lore. Throughout the game, we constantly get mentions of Demons. However, unlike Demons from other popular media, these Demons merely play pranks on people, or in Annie's case, are Succubi. Now, we know that Hatchet is capable of amazing Story writing, meaning they'd have no problem adding stakes, such as murderous Demons into the Game. However... There seems to be not a single instance of a Demon actually being "Demonic". My theory is, that Lulu, the Great and Benevolent Holy Witch, purged all the Evil Demons after she was born (Because her aura is just that strong) and let the remainder live because of the Kindness of her Heart. This would explain why Demons like Annie also have dreams outside of Carnage. Lulu (Aka the Strongest) has graced them with the ability to think for themselves. Let me know what y'all think.
