Couldn’t finished in time but so far, it’s a very good game that shows me how bad I am at planning things out. I mean surely it isn’t normal to be on Turn 15 at Level 3, right?

Nice base for a game of the genre. I feel like you can quickly get overwhelm and not be able to get the upgrades anymore. As other said, getting the upgrades with the number key is weird. If I could recommend something, it’s to add something that tells you what the upgrade do. Interesting idea overall
I’d say putting the trees where the hidden objects are around the place Neuro spawns in is not a great choice. If not for the images on the page, I would have just activated the two towers and stop there, thinking the trees were just decorations to hide the void.
It’s very barebones and basically a running simulator, I’m not even sure if there’s anything I can mention about it. Neuro’s model looks nice though
Nice game but a little frustrating. Might be a skill issue on my part
Liked how you could cheese some parts. I’m not sure if it’s on purpose but it felt that way sometimes, especially the last floor of laser on Vedal’s level.
Managing to get on little objects like the ballons, the drones or the cushions feels pretty hard, it’s very easy to mess up with the double jump and it’s just as easy to accidently throw yourself off stage. The camera also shows things above the floor or wall you’re next to which can be unhelpful
God I hate the story, in a good way. Really love the whole concept and all the flashbacks, they are really sweet to read.
Others have said it but the clicks register the window behind others, making it very annoying. I also had no clue as to how the Chat app thing works. Some looked fine but were wrong and other looked wrong but were fine. Something else I noticed is that after a while, the guy walking just stops coming and the same happen for the tasks later on.
The ending is definitely a bit confusing. I love that Neuro is back with Vedal but so easily? But since it’s for a Game Jam, I don’t really care. But if you update the game post-jam, I hope we’ll have more insight on the ending
Overall an incredible game, good job
I’m not sure I can beat this game with just a trackpad lmao. Will try again with a mouse after the voting phase but so far, I’m intrigued in the story and I read in the comment the mention of a Stage 4. 4 stages and maybe more in 3 days is A LOT. Visuals and OST is really good too. Something I really don’t like however is the fact we come back to the previous level when losing. If it’s not a bug, I can see the concept but I’m really not a fan of it
Loved this game! Not just because I love TD but also for the little story and the ending. The inclusion of the Swarm as a memory was also very sweet. Also nitpick I have is that leveling is basically useless, tried to use and failed then I started spamming units everywhere and that was good enough to win but at least there’s still a bit of strategy involved.
Interesting concept but sometimes feel confusing to play. So far, the remnants felt useless to me and some hints were confusing (like telling me Evil entered from South when the room is already at the South). I guess the map isn’t in the right direction and the bottom left room is (0, 0)? Still liked playing the game for a bit!
