The option I had to check was "this exe comes from another computer", that's why you didn't have it.

Anyway, your games are fantastic. Thanks for replying, now you know this issue can happen, just in case someone else has the same problem.

I fixed it.

On Windows 10, when an exe was from an unknown editor, the OS asked you if you wanted to launch it anyway. Here, it cancels the launch of the game without saying anything, you have to right click and go into properties to unlock the exe (checking the very last box on the first page, I didn't notice the new option at first).

Thank you for your reply.

Using command prompt, it works. But when I double click, nothing happens. I don't get it.

Other indie games, such as Locomalito games, work fine. I only get this issue with your games.

I'm not sure how to contact you, so I post this message here.

I donated for Dig Dug Revival, Random Pac and Lady Pac. I noticed today (9/9/2025) those have been updated, so I downloaded the new win-x86.zip versions. None works, double clicking on the exe does nothing.

I tried the older versions, and Dig Dug Revival and Random Pac don't work anymore (same thing, double clicking does nothing), whereas Lady Pac still works. They worked on my old Windows 10 PC, but meanwhile I got a new PC with Windows 11, so I guess it's a Windows 11 issue. What should I do?

(1 edit)

I didn't think of it as a request, I don't consider myself in any position to make one. More like an idea, since what you achieved is already quite close to it. I don't know if it interests you of if it would interest customers. You're obviously free to do whatever you please. You don't owe anyone anything.

Have you ever considered making a clone of Pac-Man 256 without all the grind elements, as a pure arcade scoring affair with random elements, like you usually do? It could be a C64 game. You have all the expertise to do it.

I'd buy it day one. Pac-Man 256 has a great foundation, but the grinding and missions destroy its gameplay, making it a tedious unbalanced slog.

Good game, but I don't understand the logic behind the huge empty cave levels... how are you supposed to choose your path since you can't see anything? Is it pure trial & error and die & retry, or am I missing something? The other levels are all very readable and fair.

Didn't buy this one yet (not a fan of Pac-Mania), but after trying Random Pac, Lady Pac and Dig Dug revival for some time, I just bought all three for all in all more than 9 dollars ;-) !

Great, great new versions of classics, I now play your versions by default. They're extremely well thought and balanced, a joy to play. Thank you.

Would it be possible to replace the mouse cursor with a cleaner in-game sprite?

Really interesting, looking forward to the full PunkCake version. Have you taken any inspiration from Rotozoa, the game from Nintendo's Art Style series?

Excellent Boulder Dash homage.

Really funny game! Reminds me of "Tempête sur l'Échiquier" by Ludodélire. Where will you release the final version?
