Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I’m definitely planning on doing adjustments post jam, specifically the spawning has been the sore point among everyone. I felt the same about it I just couldn’t figure out how to tweak it in time so it’s unfortunately what I had to settle with. I want to fix that for sure. The lives counter was hard to balance because some runs lives were a non-issue but other times I died so many times. I think I will be adjusting it though, adds some challenge. Thanks again!

Beyblade simulator! Very fun game, I really like the gameplay it's so exhilarating. I love the simplistic yet addictive loop. Very good time

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing! Yeah I admittedly wanted to add more but what I ended up with was pretty much towards the end. I didn't have enough time to add too many benefits without dull moments. One last minute benefit I added was the biggie bonus which helped the game a ton. I do also plan on improving the spawning since it is too close. Thanks again, I always appreciate constructive criticism :)

This game is a real banger. The music firstly was so good. Big fan of that. I also felt the gameplay loop was arcadey and addictive. Every time I failed I had to keep coming back. I have 2 minor criticisms though, I feel the sprites being simplistic is fine for this but I do hope you continue working on this and maybe doing like full character sprites and animations, it has a lot of potential! The second criticism, I wish the parry was just a standard move rather than needing to fill the gauge. And maybe when you fill the gauge you have invincibility for like 5 seconds or something. Otherwise though, it was real fun and well done!

I'm glad you got to play! The goal for future updates is to improve the spawning, since this was my first time with 3d anything it was tough to manage and unfortunately it was the best I could do in the timeframe. I do plan to update post jam!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed :)

This game is the definition of "satisfying". Tearing down loads of enemies with lasers and especially running into them is so satisfying. I also like the aesthetic and animations, they're very appealing! I think if the gameplay was a little bit more in depth it would be a knock out of the park. Actually criminal this does not have more ratings. Great work!

You absolutely NAILED the NES feel. The UI, character design, hell even the box art/thumbnail. Absolutely amazing! I just wish the gameplay was slightly more engaging but it's really cool! Great work!

Thanks for playing! Spawn rates will be adjusted post jam

lol yeah going too fast makes objects spawn quicker haha. I’m glad you got to play and thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I’m pretty happy with how this all turned out. I’m definitely gonna be updating in the future :)

Peak goofiness. I was really confused at first but once I started moving yeah it clicked. The live reaction cam was def my favorite part. The random seal pog was also the icing on the cake. I think what also did it for me was the fact that I've been on a seal kick recently(funny short videos of seals :3)

This was a very fun and silly game! I could see this being a fun game with friends to see who can survive the longest. Also can I just say, that intro UI was gorgeous. Good stuff!

Dude seriously, this game was everything you could ask for. Just like Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex, you get a lil bit of everything. Puzzles, platforming, minigames, dungeon crawling, exploration, deep story, memorable characters, and just a fantastic experience. It's a grab bag of genres! (Seriously tho I had a smile on my face while playing, fantastic work).

I really enjoyed this game. The incorporation of slick being both the movement and the characters was... well... slick! The gameplay was also fun and addictive. I also really like the roguelike element. Excellent work! No complaints from me.

Yeah unfortunately that is the common consensus. Glad you were able to play! I'll give your game a shot :)

Thanks so much for playing! I'll check out your game :)

Thanks for playing! Yeah obstacles were def my weak point. Glad you were able to try it out!

Absolutely devastated this does not have more ratings. It's so fun! I love speed runner like games. I was a bit terrible at getting perfects but nonetheless it was fantastic. Also here was my best score: 12328. Yeah not great but I'll prob play more soon. Loved the concept as well.

Very creative use of resources. I saw this on Bonejacks stream and it was super creative. I think if you ever get to learning programming, with your creativity and imagination, you can probably make some really awesome puzzle games! Still, what is here is really unique. Good work!

Lol thanks for playing! Yeah the worst thing are slow drivers on a highway like, you ain't the only one on the road!

I can't believe I got forever bitchless... TWICE! It's a creative concept, I like it. The pixel art is also simple but very effective. It also gave me a few laughs. Fun time!

Love the atari feel of this game. The graphics remind me of asteroids which is really cool. Gameplay, while simple, was super addictive. The snappiness of losing and jumping right back in felt really good. Overall, solid game!

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed :)

This is a super creative game! Really fun and unique. Also the "slick" implementation was really fun. I was a little confused on what I should've been doing but I still give major props to how unique this concept is. Great game!

It’s very common for snowmen to be built in the road as it provides challenge for the kids XD Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed flying on the highway

Thanks for playing! Yeah that was me voice acting lol. I felt like it added more character. I should’ve made the miles match more with the speed but it’s more funny driving at 20 and feeling like light speed haha

Super simple game with some really fun mechanics. I think using the moon gravitation to influence the direction you go is super fun! Scanning the planet was also a nice change of pace and breaks up the feel that everything is the same. I also love the 3d assets combined with 2d assets. Always one of my favorite things. Great work!

I feel like slick was gonna lead to ice block puzzle games right? But execution is what matters most. This game was super simple but the puzzles were so creative and well done I can't help but say this was a real treat of a game. I loved the puzzles, the different versions of puzzles, etcetera. For such limitation, you made it work and work super well! Great job!

What a cool idea and concept! I like the idea a lot and I feel with some polish this could absolutely be a fun game! I felt it did get a teeny bit tedious but that is to be expected with the limited time. Excellent work!

Thanks for playing! Walls were added last minute so I may have not put as much time into placement but yeah I get it lol. Yeah I think fixing the spawning thing will be my top priority when this jam is over. I'll be sure to give your game a shot!

Very fun game with a really cool concept/effect. I think with more levels this could be super addicting. I do think the filter is a bit much on the menus but beyond that it is a fun time

Saw this game on one of the interviews with the devs. This was a really neat time, absolutely love the clay aesthetic and the rhythm game concept is really cool! I think with some more additions later on, this could be a hit! Excellent job especially in the time given.

I love the art style and the theming here. Very slick indeed! I felt that this game was a bit buggy but with some more time, I think this could be a very fun score attack game. Gave some Tony Hawk vibes of course, but the characters are really well designed. I think it's a very fun and slick concept! Also I gambled all my cheese, I love gambling :D

Wow this game really incorporates "slick" well lol. Really fun and banger soundtrack! I also love the visuals. I think the only thing that might make this more fun is adding a few obstacles. Otherwise solid game

Thanks for playing! Yeah retro aesthetics are my favorite :)

ah yeah I should’ve made it more clear. You want to hold brake while holding down accelerate when going around turns to improve turning. It’s not necessarily a drift but more of a drift substitute. That’s on me for not having a clear tutorial. Thanks for playing though, I’ll try and get to your game when I have some free time!

I think you need to look up the definition again. Just so you’re educated, roguelites are games that carry some progress between runs and roguelikes are games that carry no progress between runs.

I love the acceleration build. It’s fun cause you can hit more obstacles without losing too much speed :D
