Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I’m definitely planning on doing adjustments post jam, specifically the spawning has been the sore point among everyone. I felt the same about it I just couldn’t figure out how to tweak it in time so it’s unfortunately what I had to settle with. I want to fix that for sure. The lives counter was hard to balance because some runs lives were a non-issue but other times I died so many times. I think I will be adjusting it though, adds some challenge. Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing! Yeah I admittedly wanted to add more but what I ended up with was pretty much towards the end. I didn't have enough time to add too many benefits without dull moments. One last minute benefit I added was the biggie bonus which helped the game a ton. I do also plan on improving the spawning since it is too close. Thanks again, I always appreciate constructive criticism :)
This game is a real banger. The music firstly was so good. Big fan of that. I also felt the gameplay loop was arcadey and addictive. Every time I failed I had to keep coming back. I have 2 minor criticisms though, I feel the sprites being simplistic is fine for this but I do hope you continue working on this and maybe doing like full character sprites and animations, it has a lot of potential! The second criticism, I wish the parry was just a standard move rather than needing to fill the gauge. And maybe when you fill the gauge you have invincibility for like 5 seconds or something. Otherwise though, it was real fun and well done!
This game is the definition of "satisfying". Tearing down loads of enemies with lasers and especially running into them is so satisfying. I also like the aesthetic and animations, they're very appealing! I think if the gameplay was a little bit more in depth it would be a knock out of the park. Actually criminal this does not have more ratings. Great work!
Peak goofiness. I was really confused at first but once I started moving yeah it clicked. The live reaction cam was def my favorite part. The random seal pog was also the icing on the cake. I think what also did it for me was the fact that I've been on a seal kick recently(funny short videos of seals :3)
Dude seriously, this game was everything you could ask for. Just like Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex, you get a lil bit of everything. Puzzles, platforming, minigames, dungeon crawling, exploration, deep story, memorable characters, and just a fantastic experience. It's a grab bag of genres! (Seriously tho I had a smile on my face while playing, fantastic work).
Super simple game with some really fun mechanics. I think using the moon gravitation to influence the direction you go is super fun! Scanning the planet was also a nice change of pace and breaks up the feel that everything is the same. I also love the 3d assets combined with 2d assets. Always one of my favorite things. Great work!
I feel like slick was gonna lead to ice block puzzle games right? But execution is what matters most. This game was super simple but the puzzles were so creative and well done I can't help but say this was a real treat of a game. I loved the puzzles, the different versions of puzzles, etcetera. For such limitation, you made it work and work super well! Great job!
I love the art style and the theming here. Very slick indeed! I felt that this game was a bit buggy but with some more time, I think this could be a very fun score attack game. Gave some Tony Hawk vibes of course, but the characters are really well designed. I think it's a very fun and slick concept! Also I gambled all my cheese, I love gambling :D
ah yeah I should’ve made it more clear. You want to hold brake while holding down accelerate when going around turns to improve turning. It’s not necessarily a drift but more of a drift substitute. That’s on me for not having a clear tutorial. Thanks for playing though, I’ll try and get to your game when I have some free time!
