Will try to test the game to the extent that skill issue (and time) allow, however, it appears that the link to the Discord is broken?
I will thus resort to posting comments as responses to this one?

I went as far as I could in the game and my save files all say "chapter 0". Is it maybe that the .sh version is not completely updated, do chapters not show up properly on the saves, or am I misunderstanding something?

edit: I found a comment reply from drowsy drake studios somewhere below that chapter 1 will be out sometime around June/July/August. That clarifies it.

I guess the point is to force priviliged people to see injustice? But yeah it's rather pessimistic and shallow (not unecpected from a tiny game jam game but still :/)

Tbh this is basically the first good/constructive criticism I've seen in the comments.

I've seen the gay film making ending considered as a "good end" because while you suffered, your actions resulted in good change in the future.

A couple other endings like that where despite your suffering you managed to do some good in the world would have been nice. I guess that would work better in a slightly larger game.

Rip, a little limited but it's a tiny game.
As a fellow aroace I would have loved the only "good" end to be dying alone with a cat but I guess most people wouldn't like that end :p
I guess the implied is that you loved / wanted to get together with Rose (hence the name of the cat) but didn't because of homophobic dad.

Considering all the people complaining about life being too brutal and sad that wouldn't be taken well :p

The point is to be compassionate to minorities and the less fortunate.
The situation you described happens to real people and those people deserve compassion.
