Great aesthetic and nice mix of King's Field and Dark Souls mechanics :)
Two small UI criticisms though
1. Text looks very blurry at high DPI settings (on Windows 10 at least)
2. I think pop up messages like "essence bound" etc should automatically fade out after a while
