You also have to disable d3d9 in the libraries tab of the wine configuration

Okay, well this worked really well.
- Create a 32-bit Windows XP bottle
- Install all of the dependencies via the built in crossover application installer
- Install .NET 4.7.2 via the crossover application installer
- Enable D3DMetal and ESync (MSync causes certain clients to crash)
- Enjoy good performance, although Studio does take a while to start
CrossOver is a program endorsed by WineHQ that makes it easy to run Windows apps on MacOS and Debian.
It's like $100 and based off of open-source software so I just pirated it, but do what you want.
To get Novetus to partially work, I created a Windows 10 bottle with these settings:
- D3DMetal
- MSync
And created a command shortcut thingy to the legacy launcher.
May work better with other settings but I'm tired at the moment, and I don't want to test anymore
Clients that work
- 2006: Untested
- 2007E: Pretty good
- 2007M: Really good
- 2008: Leaderboard text, menu bar text, and gear icons are gone. Also, a few rendering errors with accessories occur
- 2009: Leaderboard text, menu bar text, and gear icons are gone. Also, a few rendering errors with accessories occur
- 2010: Leaderboard text, menu bar text, and gear icons are gone. Also, a few rendering errors with accessories occur
- 2011E: Works really well
- 2011L: Works well, just not as well as 2011E imo
Note it may work better in a Windows 7 or Vista bottle, tell me if it does!
