Glad you enjoyed listening!

The choir I used is a library for Kontakt called Olympus Essentials - by Soundiron. I'm running it trough a RAUM-reverb from Native Instruments, which I just love using for these big soundscape-like sounds.

Not much I can say, I hope to be playing some games with your soundtrack soon!

You can find the controls on the itch page :D I already have an idea on how I want the tutorial pop ups to work though, so that will be something to work on ^^

Thanks for your feedback!
You are right about the audio formats, mp3 can only store whole bits or smth which is why it usually adds a little silence at the end, making it not well loopable. The audio used are .ogg though so I'll have a look into that. I was also planning on adding sfx, but I didn't find the time within the deadline.

We will probably slowly work on the project going forward to make it a small little title that's not as repetitive.

Thank you very much! Everything was created from scratch. Crystal did all the artwork and I coded everything and made the music.

No worries. You might want to put that kind of information (the part where it's a prototype and has no real play-ability at this state) on the itch page. When I download a jam submission I usually go straight for the .exe, didn't even see the README :D

The high jump is available after you jumped a few times. The platforms as well as enemies and coins are generated randomly so it can happen that it isn't doable without the high jump. I believe gdevelop  doesn't allow for such detailed adjustments like making sure no high jump is required too soon after another.  It can also happen that a bird blocks your way to a platform. because of this totally random generation. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

The visuals look really nice! I don't see what to do in the game though. I collected all shards with one little flame but nothing happened afterwards.

The concept is pretty cool and fun to play. I find all the camera shaking more annoying than anything though. It makes it hard to aim and also to focus on anything. The sound effects are a little loud.
Sometimes the screen goes all black. Not sure if that's intended but it made me walk into some walls that I wasn't able to see before.

This is pretty cool although a bit hard on the eyes :D
I only played one round but I reached 1060km.
I'm not sure how exactly your fuel works, but it was looking pretty good, almost full when all of a sudden I got a game over.

It looks like something isn't working.  I can only see the warning but even that cuts off  with "warnings as a precaution, you are" being the last readable line. None  of my input attempts seemed to be doing anything.

Downloadable is for Windows. I tried to build it for WebGL but that didn't work for some reason.

(1 edit)

I didn't really understand what to do. Sometimes I can use the Power and make them fly away, sometimes I cant. I did try pressing it while the satellite was above me but I think it didn't always work.

And half of the time the agents would just fly away  if i touched them ?

A simple score that ramps up per agent u sent flying or something like that would add quiet a bit to the  -goal factor :D

Ye i just put it there when I was working on the menu but didn't have t he time to implement a way to change the audio volume :D

You move the solar panel on the roof  using the left and right arrow keys to catch these falling suns :D

Glad you enjoyed the music :)

Im glad it worked^^

That  camera looks way too much ahead could be a fun game idea tho - like u have to remember how it looked or something  like that :D

And sadly at this point the programmer and art  person of our team don't even answer  me their itch.io so i cant add them. We didn't have a walking animation therefor there are no footstep sounds either.   And as the sound guy im glad to hear u enjoyed the music. This Demo was basically my try to show what we had, even tho it didn't really end up being a game at all.

Thanks four your feedback!

I guess  it wasn't like that for me because i have a big screen?

Anyways, I lowered the look ahead for the camera to 0 so your problem should be solved!
