A beautiful, thoughtful meditation on resolving the disparate but also deeply important parts of ourselves that at first blush may seem irreconcilable. This was such a unique experience for talking about transness without mentioning the physical at all - a truly deep dive into the ways being trans is enmeshed with so many facets of our lives, our memories and our experiences within ourselves. Joy that isn't easily won, but feels so incredibly worth it - so incredibly necessary nonetheless.

And all this mixed with expressive art against a beautiful but terrifying backdrop, juxtaposing the immensity of nature against our own human fragility - how it all this inner conflict can feel at once so impossibly huge and all-consuming, terrifying and electrifying in its potential and possibility.

This left me with a lot to chew and reflect on, the experience will stick with me for a long time. Thank you for sharing, this is truly something special.

I!! LOVED!! THIS!! GAME!!! AAHHHHH!!!!

Okay so, I don't want to get into spoiler territory here, but... I really enjoyed how sincerely the game examines fandom dynamics and how works of fiction can shape lives: positive and negatively. How much of that is that due to the work itself, the fandom surrounding it, or what the individual reader projects into it - all of that is explored here with surprising nuance.

I don't think I've ever played or read a story like it, at least not one that goes into this much depth and touches so broadly on fandom experiences, and all of it is wrapped up in such a beautiful, expressive art style with funny, complex characters.

I can't believe how much I was sitting here sweating over my choices in a CARD GAME lol. I just!! wanted to help all these sad little guys so much haha... while also wanting to slap their heads in places because DAMN. Introspection and communication is hard but PLEASE... GUYS... (Jas.. but honestly this applies to all of them lmaooo)

Anyway I love this game. It left me with a lot of complex feelings to shift through, as all the best narrative-driven stories do, and in particular left me tearing my hair out over character relations and choices and what might happen to them in the future but ofc I know no one is ever going to tell me!! Because!!! The author really is dead.
