Tried your game. Right off the bat, i can say the concept is good, I see the vision. Art is good. HUD is good. Jet flames afterburn looks cool with the 2d effects.

That said, there are a few issues, or maybe just things I don't like.
Red blips/markers on enemy ships, uh, need to scale with how far it is. Otherwise it's hard to tell, yes there is a minimap, but still.

Secondly. When they fly past you it's disorienting, there needs to be an arrow marker/indicator to help reorient yourself to aim at a ship flying past you.

There's already a marking system for asteroids, there needs to be something like that for ships.

You'd probably add that later tho this *is* an early prototype.

Also some ideas, but maybe you can add homing missiles? For when you lock onto an object, you would be able to fire a homing missile or two. That'd be fun.

Aiming is very hard. Especially the enemy that moves a lot (though that was the intention, I guess). You could make that easier? But then again the only plane fighter I played was on the PSP.

Anyways, all over, good demo. promising. Good luck!

Have you been turning the game off, and then on again, for the purpose of restarting?

Five minutes in, fast paced, really fun excellent use of sound cues, very juicy. I'll continue after finishing.

I thought I'd write a review after beating the game, but nevermind: this game, is amazing. Even if you don't like horror. It's atmospheric, has solid themes and is a great golfing + resource management game, even if you ignore the horror aspect, which just adds to the charm. Even in it's unfinished state it looks very polished. And did I even mention the art? I will definitely look forward to future updates of this game, the dev is working towards different levels of varying style (and probably making it scarier to get me) and I want to see where it goes, and will wishlist it when it comes out on Steam.

Gorgeous art, stiff but charming animations. Footsteps sound absolutely delicious. 10/10

Okay maybe the dodge could use one or two invincibility frames since it's nearly useless if you hit it at just the right time as you still get hit. I think I completed it.

Also compared to the other animations the dodge looks a little wonky/floaty.

Thanks for the feedback! The things with the jumps were design choices I kept intentionally, I'll see how if I can change it up. I don't know about the camera though, it should work. I didn't get any time to test the windows built as I was away for a while.
