Oh, I'm terribly sorry, I will delete this comment then. It really seemed abandoned, without any updates for a very long time. Lots of people on the Steam thinks the same, unfortunately. I wish you success with the game, and again, I'm very sorry.

Do it please, it has a lot of potential and the graphic style is just perfect already.

I had the same problem with my logitech precision, but I've FIXED IT. I've used a "Xbox 360 Controller Emulator" (https://www.x360ce.com/). For this game, just download  the version for 64-bit games, then put it right into the game folder, start this app and follow the instructions and maybe do some settings, if necessary. It should work - the game will think, that you have a supported controller.
