I'm so sorry you relate to the story but also super happy that it resonated with you enough to elicit a significant reaction. That's the the highest praise I could have hoped to receive.
You didn't miss out a functionality, the main endings currently do not allow you to go back to the last option. I was thinking from a story/gameplay design pov, that replaying the game from the start would allow for another look at the characters from a new perspective. But I can see how needing to slog through the same dialogues again for the other endings is not so fun. I figure I could introduce either a chapter select/ dialog skip function. I have no idea how but I'll start looking!!
