Congratulations on another game entry. It's cool you are dipping your hands on a puzzle game. Keep making games. I downloaded and beat your game.

I found more glitches, but I will fix them and wait for the jam period to end before I submit an updated PC version with finished boss fight and more time secrets. I will submit more fixes along the way. Any fixed will be applied to this HTML5 Version: https://sidaal.itch.io/alkon-the-time-manipulator-ios-version
4/3/21-I fixed a major game breaking bug for my time freeze magic halfway through the game. This will allow the game to play properly. There is still no final boss fight yet, but when I post the next update, I will submit the boss with more time secrets to play with and exploit (minus the bugs hopefully.) I'm happy for feedback and questions.
I'm finding bugs every now and then, but this jam submission can be beaten. I won't edit it the PC version yet to honor the rules, but I will release an HTML version of all updates with all updates during the jam period. When the Jam is concluded, I'll release the stable PC version with all updates.
If you have any issues/bugs , please comment or reach out to me, and I will be very responsive. Thank you for your interest in playing my game.
Stay up to date by playing HTML5 Version: https://sidaal.itch.io/alkon-the-time-manipulator-ios-version
4/3/2021-Fixed a major time freeze glitch. Now you can beat the game with ease. No final boss yet. I'll release that by next week at the latest.
Dang..
Edit: I found the one piece of code that was ruining my game, and deleted the bad code. My game works like a charm now. If I can submit the fix and push it through, I will be so grateful. If not, I understand. I'll submit an HTML5 version outside of the jam submission window to allow people to play it and stay within the rules.
I now updated don't Kill the CEO game to the RPG Maker Website. You can download that version here: https://rpgmaker.net/games/11916/
Thank you so much Pikamew for the review. I appreciate your kind words and your fair criticism. The lack of gameplay was what I noticed, so much so where if someone named my game: “the meeting, the game” they wouldn’t be wrong. So I would like to update the final challenge so you can get more various responses, and add more gameplay throughout the game.
The story for me was very easy for me to make since the main character had to be unlikable (a CEO is a good start,) and the core plot is actually based on Walmart vs Amazon and Walmart’s in acquiring Jet.com to compete with Amazon. The rest was my son and I making jokes about stupid business things we know, and rolling on the floor laughing whenever we thought of anything throughout the days.
Ahh! You beat it?? you might have an older version if you didn't download it a few minutes ago. If you were in the shareholder meeting, you probably played a test version. It's beatable now, but I am still killing bugs before the livestrsm.
(I'm currently running around with my head cut off, but thank you so much for playing it.)
It was my fault. It should have been ready to launch 30 minutes or at least 1 day before the deadline. The fact that I have a game to play and can share on the phone and PC is really what makes me happy. I needed to make a complete shareable video game to be happy with myself.
A judge will still play it, but they won't rank it. I can live with that. It gets to be part of the livestream, and since it's late, I figure I can improve it before it gets scheduled to played by a judge. It's not done yet. It's beatable but I want to expand it to the way I want it to be. If you give me middle of the week, the game will be ready to be played in the way I imagined it to be.
Here is another entry to play for the game jam. The game did not make it in before the deadline:

The humility is refreshing. It's a trait I admire in others and myself to always seek to improve. Actually it makes me think about what % of my own game is story vs gameplay and it's not a number I like so far. The body change puzzle was my favorite thing in your game. It reminded me of Operation Trick or Treat on Cartoon Network:
I've learning the hard way that time is an important resource in this jam. I fear I might not be able to get in all the features in my game in time, so I might have to slim things out cut them out. It's good that you kept your priority in your game. I'm struggling a bit, but I have to truck through, and use my son and eventually my friend tomorrow to playtest. (I'm nervous.)
Our competitor Rubescen really did a good job on short term body changing mechanics: https://rubescen.itch.io/crossingtales.
Remind me after this jam to play your game Crab Vs. Virus RPG: https://ronaldbabe.itch.io/crab-and-virus That looks good and got good reviews.
I was trying to see if I could somehow become human if I master the routes of the other characters. I hope you finish the game since I could just see more secrets and puzzles hiding in the game. I missed why the south map changed its world. It was really fascinating. It was like a screwy world turned normal after the restoration of the left map. Secrets galore. I love it.
I beat it. It's a short game, and I appreciated the Otaku references, and I loved your School Days Joke. The story was cool with the dual bodies is a cool idea, but I think there should be more gameplay. I felt that 95% of the game was story, where you could have more fleshed out body swapping ideas and a deeper plot.
I fully beat this game within the 30 minute mark. I really like that it is a well rounded RPG with a full breath of RPG features. The plugins were well used with HP bars, running animation, diagonal movement, and death animation for bosses. The map designs used the full disciplines of good building and room mapping. Battles were well rounded with fighting, magic, TP, and buffs. The buildup to the last battle in the demo had a clever twist. That was a cool payoff for listening to the story. One particular gravestone was really funny.
What I didn't like is that there is too many weapons/armor in the shop that I couldn't even buy. Since the enemies give you an abundance of potions, I never even needed to use the shop to do beat the game. There were a handful of typos which were noticeable but I understood what I needed to do. There were too many abilities, and the key to winning the demo was to focus on maximizing your single enemy attacks, so AoE attacks were worthless. The only major text error that got me lost is that the ruins were on the LEFT, not the RIGHT. I thought I did missed some detail in the plot and went left by accident. I even went back to the previous building to get a hint, but the text was something like"I don't want to bother them again" so I thought I had to possibly backtrack to the beginning of the game. The big detail is to fix the crossroads sign so that the ruins are LEFT. I couldn't explore almost all of the ruins, and I couldn't even touch the mountains that contained a "secret" as hinted by 2 NPCs. It's weird that you didn't have any suggestion to save or even autosave. When I beat the demo, I couldn't save my progress or even revert to an autosave, so my progress after beating the demo was lost. Since there are map destinations that were not complete, you should use the extra days in the competition to beta test for bugs and add some placeholder map destinations, as skim out the shops, so that players can buy something other than potions. Also, increase gold drops or decrease prices. I actually didn't have enough money to even buy potions buy the end of the game.
Congratulations on being the first submission. I hope it inspires us to work hard and make a well rounded game like yours. The game has a big story ready and a fleshed out balanced RPG.
