Yuuichi acts different in literally every route. He is shaped by the route character he follows and there ISNT any problem in it being toxic, it's a story, it is meant to be entertaining and open to explore dynamics man. NO one is saying hey this is okay and healthy actually, no, it's exploring a relationship that starts because of a stolen kiss. It is NOT meant to start off healthy. The same way Sho's entire route has a branching path that explores sexual assault from your own partner. 
Also they're teenagers, they're not gonna act perfect either, theyre going to act rashly and against their better judgement, it MAKES sense so far to me! If you DON'T like this kind of story exploration it's not for you and THAT'S OKAY. But also calling real people HORRIBLE for understanding what this route is about is also crazy

Okay I was compelled to make a comment since I've heard of the backlash to this update and I just have to say. I think most people complaining are just full of shit. (yes I'm exaggerating, yes your opinion to the art piece is valid, I'm just venting)

Haruki ISN'T like the other characters, SPECIALLY not like the other route characters. He's way more down to earth, he's a grown ass gay man that isn't afraid of using slurs because he knows he can use them. And most of all he NNNNNEEVER gave people any tells of him being a lovey dovey bleeding heart who'd fold at any genuine sign of affection.

Haruki. is. rauchy. Every single time he's caught Yuuichi oggling at his body, and this was multiple times, all he had to give in return was tease him with the most SHIT EATING GRIN imaginable. 
The INTRO to his route is a kiss, yes, a FORCEFUL kiss literally meant to PISS SOMEONE ELSE OFF. 

So when people get mad at Haruki literally and metaphorically breaking Yuu's repressed sexuality with his huge dick down his throat all I'm really hearing is that people were expecting Shoichi 2.0 
Like you knew what you were signing up for since the start, Haruki  had SO many tells that sex to him would come more naturally than ROMANCE, with the PAINSTAKINGLY slow development of their FRIENDSHIP. 
If you were disappointed because of that and expecting something sweeter like a confession, I'm sorry to say you were probably expecting to "fix him" and failed by the first sex scene. Haruki never saw Yuu's infatuation as actual love, but as sexual attraction.
And even if he did see the love behind it, he'd shove that shit down and be in denial about it and pretend its just sexual.

Like, Haruki presents an interesting, new, and fresh dynamic to a story that already has three lengthy routes about friends to lovers with different kinds of sweetness and love right off the gate. If it's not for you, then that's okay! There's no problem with that, but I sorely hope that his route remains what it is despite the backlash. Because that's what it is at its core, and I don't even DOUBT there will be an eventual romance, but that will only come AFTER the rauchiness, because if Haruki will break through Yuu's sexuality, Yuu will have to break through Haruki's heart. 

And again, that's not really FIXING him as much as it is bringing out MORE out of him beyond sex. THAT'S the real romantic value here.

Turning the Master audio, Music audio and SFX audio sliders all the way down doesn't seem to mute them.
Also upon game start the audio (I think it was the music specifically) was absurdly loud while wearing headphones to the point of actually hurting, i'd look into it if more people experience this

I hope you at least make the old version of ICO that went up to like version 6.5 available for download. It was genuinely such a refreshing experience, all the fights were great, the protagonist was a treat to follow, the WORLDBUILDING was fucking sick as hell and it had so much content for what it was! Hella fucking unfortunate to see it all go but it was a good run man

Wait since when were there extra patreon scenes? I must've missed a dev log or smth, do we have a list of those scenes and at which point they are in the story?

Does skipping the first half mean you dont get the secrets youd have gotten from defeating bosses or do you also get those bonuses? 

Hey im considering buying the game but could I ask what the extra little things are in the demo? like is it something that you unlock by finishing the demo or is it being able to reload your saves or something else? 
OH also Ive been LOVING the post-grapple victory (with the seeder for example) additions in the demo I hope there's much more of that

Has it ever been considered an option to turn off fight animations or something to speed them up? It'd help to get through some of the samey fights every update and for future installments of the series

just start the game up, make a save and check the www folder, there should be a "save" folder that got created
