This is very cool! I was just looking for something with better movement controls than Bitsy, and Whimsy's controls feel very good to use.

Do you have any plans to implement layers? I was testing using props to create visual effects and wanted to layer them in front of the player's sprite when the player walks through them, but didn't see a way to do it. [Edit: never mind, I found the foreground/background toggle! Didn't realize it was there until reading through the devlogs.]

I've played this game like ten times now and never figured out how to progress beyond the second guy in the basement. Given the probabilities involved, I could probably keep brute forcing it until I had enough money to play the robot, but it takes too long to get through the opening monologue and Krikiav's dialogue to keep restarting. I'm curious where this game is going with the hints about memories and things not being quite right. And what that guy on the phone was talking to himself about. And what the deal is with that light.

Hint for the cupboard puzzle: the sliders match up with the shelves, top to bottom. For each symbol, which item on the shelf does it correspond to best, from left to right? (You don't have to count up all the items that correspond with that symbol or count how many shelves have an item that matches that symbol, the way I initially thought.)
