Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it. I definitely have to fix the mouse sensitivity as it has been brought up more than once now lol. There's still plenty we want to do with this idea!

Really cool concept! I love the art for the game, really well done. I wish I was better at it

Hmm, well it's definitely working in chrome. I'm not sure how nicely Firefox works with WebGL, I believe there's a way to try to enable it inside of firefox?

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)

What web browser are you using? It should be working fine from what I can tell.

I really enjoyed the aesthetic choices in the game. The minimilistic color palette and camera filters really help provide a compelling atmosphere. Great submission!

I love the dynamic pixel art style used, great idea!

Thanks for playing it all the way through! There are definitely some balancing changes that we didn't have time to address, so I appreciate the feedback :)

For a full game we for sure wanted to introduce more levels and checkpoints and some fun new mechanics.

Currently it is only an audio cue for when the figure shows up so I would definitely advise having sound on. It makes a static noise and you need to shine the light on him within a time limit. I'm glad you like the look of it though :)

I absolutely love the character hitting the side-eye whenever you move the camera over. The run is also hilarious, but I still managed to get freaked out once I realized there was a reason you have to run lol. Very creative concept that is executed really well. The only thing I had trouble with was always running into pesky walls.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! Hopefully the back and forth gameplay was fun.

If you enjoyed the game, don't forget to give it a rating! All of the feedback is very much appreciated :)

The pixel art is really nice to look at and the sound track kept me going

Thank you! Yeah I will admit that a tutorial was unfortunately left on the cutting room floor to have this submitted it time. Currently there are only controls listed in the top left of the game as well as a short "Tips" section on the main menu. When you hear the static, you need to press tab to put your game down and shine your flashlight at the shadowy figure until it leaves, then you can go back. Hope that helps :)

I really like the concept here and the desktop mechanics are really well done, very convincing. I'm a big fan of the aestetics!

Really nice design choices! I love this kind of retro stylez especially for horror games.

Really fun art style, I love the messy hand-drawn pixel look. The overall experience is super polished!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy the game. Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions on how we could improve it

We have plans to make this a full release on steam when we have a bit more time that what is allotted for a game jam.

Thanks for checking out our game!

this is what the game was running like while testing, I probably should've had it tested on more devices honestly

Hey man I really appreciate you trying out my game, it means a lot. I'm curious what the specs were for the pc you were running the game in. The grappling is actually instant and is based on a short cooldown timer that appears over the players head. When testing the game I ran it on just my computer and laptop which might have more processing power than some other devices. It didn't seem to be running well at all on your computer which might be where a lot of the issues came from. That being said, the game definitely is not without it's issues lol so I appreciate all the feedback, thanks for trying it out :)
