Very touching. The pacing with the text was very well done, too. Such a little thing, but having the text speed up and slow down really helps bring the tone of the words to life.

Also like with every other part of the Drowning Machine, I wanna leave it running to the side and just sink into that numbing, monochromatic atmosphere.

Enjoyed playing this, for the most part. I really expected to spend more time in the swamp, but when I realized the route you were taking, I thought it was really clever. Things got really hard when my gun jammed super early (think I still had 35 shots?), but I managed to make it to the end without it.

Cute and fun, with a cool way to end it. I think you nailed the feel of just being in a weird-ass dream that slowly works it's way into a nightmare. And being able to free-bounce afterwards was a lot of fun, too.

Loved this! From the chill tunes, the old-school narrative style, and the general atmosphere. Only complaint is I did end up getting stuck in the water once after falling off the bridge and had to load the autosave.
