Did you check for typos? So far I have not gotten a request :)

(1 edit)

Thank you :)
I usually don't do commissions, but you can message me on Discord to chat about what you need :)

Hello! I played the game and recorded it with some feedback, if you are interested. :) Video

I noticed that your game does not show in the "Game title" section of Youtube, when creating the video description. No idea how that works, but I wanted to mention it anyway.

I specifically tried this one since I read that the horror elements are not in there yet :P

I did not get anything :/ Just checked and I have my message requests open. Maybe send me your Discord name and I give it a try :)

Edit: I just checked the Message requests before, since I assumed you would be on the Discord server for this jam. Opened the friend requests as well, if you want to try again.

Hey! Yes, I would love to chat a bit :) You can shoot me a request in Discord (shiroze.)

Hello there!

I would love to join the Jam, so I am looking for a team that still needs an artist, or just a programmer that wants to team up. Since the Team-Building Event is after the Jam has already started (and a whole Saturday is over) I want to try to find someone here :)

I am a Pixel Artist and you can see my work here on Itch.io:  https://shiroze.itch.io/

Since I started doing Pixel Art I have mostly been doing backgrounds/environments, but I would love to do get some experience in other things as well, especially animation! Most of my work will be done on the weekends, so it might be good if you are doing the same or at least are fine with the time spend like this. But if I have the time and energy, I will of course do some work during the week. :)

If you are interested please leave a comment :) (I am also on the Discord, if that is more convenient)

Thanks for using it! The game looks really cute :)

Thank you for using and posting your project with it :)

Hey, thank you for using that :)

My itch profile or the link to the asset with the name is enough. No need to add more.

Thank you for using my stuff and sharing your project :)

I think it would be appropriate even though I would feel quite stressed by that. The infinite rerolls make it extremely easy.
What might also work is a short cooldown on the re-roll instead of a hard cap on the rolls.

Ah, yes, that is exactly what I did xD

The transition between stages is faaaar too long. you can probably cut 3/4 of it.

I got the whip and wanted to put it on the empty slot, but it seemed to have overwritten my other weapon I had.

Fighting the mummies was no problem, but this huge golem thing definitely was an issue. It felt like it did quite a bit amount of damage, but I didn't seem to get in some damage without being hit myself.

Somehow I really liked the transition of those stripes. It looks like it is just some cardboard someone takes away :D

I think the field should have been a bit bigger, since it felt quite claustrophobic and hard to react fast enough to avoid a crash very early on.

Like the idea! The first round I spent too much time thinking about the tiles, because I somehow expected to have a finite amount of rerolls. Therefore I got caught quickly. On the 2nd round I just spammed the roll button until I got the tile I wanted.

I like the visuals. And I was happy to hear some audio. Sadly the spike sounds starts layering with each new level and sounds very bad quite quickly. But even without this issue, the sound becomes quite repetitive fast.

Having chests to find was nice. Though, I would have loved to carry the amount over to the next level. In the end it didn't matter since I wasn't able to use it for anything anyway.

I did not have a second player, so I wont comment on that.

But even when trying to play alone I had no idea what I could/should do next. I just made rounds clicking the pieces, because I did not know whose turn it is rn. Also some pieces I was able to move, while others (of the same colour) did not move at all.

Also it would have been nice to be able to deselect a piece.

I would have liked some sound, but it works without as well :)

Some info on why I get points would be great. I understand that I get some if I have 3 in any direction, but I also got points in other scenarios, and I have no idea why.

Some of the assets (The ones I deemed at least okay) are free to grab here:
