Thanks for the kind words, glad you liked it. The ranking is indeed real, I work with webservers daily so implementing the ranking system was actually one of the easiest parts of this project, haha.

I like the aesthetics and the constrained aspect ratio and low res look.

I liked the art style and it was very on theme. I kept expecting the devil to say "MORTIS ✝" whenever it got me!

The idea is nice and is very much on point with the theme but the way you have to way too quickly change colours coupled with the colours being on the scroll wheel (so very hard to go to a specific one aside from randomly lucking into it) made it very difficult. I did like the atari style aestethics though.

I had a gran' time overtaking and forcing the other grannies into obstacles.

Good fun! I ran out of bombs several times so that was rather frantic but it was an enjoyable game.

I really like these one screen games that still have story and game progression. I also liked that the gameplay loop didn't just involve screaming at stuff to shatter it. Very nice aestethics too!

I'm not very good at precision platforming but I thought the idea of jumping over windmills was very funny.

Good job on this! I enjoyed the random destination aspect and I think card-based pathfinding is a fun puzzler.

I like Ikaruga and I like cats and as such I like this game. I think it would've been nice if it were more obvious if you need to be blue to collect the blue projectiles or the other way around but that didn't stop me from enjoying the game.

I liked the aestethics, very clearly inspired by games like Kind Words. I think the exploration aspect of trying out the different stickers and effects can be interesting but I personally would've liked more having some sort of explanation of how everything interacts with the score.

I liked the split focus of managing both the car and the tower though hitting the bomb dropoff zones was rather tricky at times.

Very flavourful (eh? eh? Cause of the fries and bacon?) and I liked my time with it!

This feels like it belongs in a mainline WarioWare game. Good job!

I liked it. It took a bit to get used to how floaty the jumps were but I had a fun time.

This feels like a blast from the past. Loved the aestethics and definitely on point with the theme and the title.

I liked this one. I stopped at level 20 because I had abused speed upgrades and it got a bit samey but it was a fun time. Also, the name is excellent!

The reverse asteroids is a fun idea. I abused the enemy tracking a lot by constantly moving from one edge to another. The controls were just as floaty as you'd expect for an asteroid and I liked that the enemy had a blind side right behind it where tracking would stop.

A funny take on the dino game. Collisions felt a bit off but I'm definitely not a cool guy so what do I know?

I like the art style.

I managed to softlock myself by losing all of my coins and not being able to bet anymore but I guess that's what I get for playing black jack with soul reapers. At some point after that though, the opponent kept drawing cards until I closed the game. I can see that being a metaphor for being stuck in limbo with the soul reaper, haha.

It's nice, congrats! In my browser the menu scene was rather messed up with the clickable areas vastly misplaced from the textures but I also ran into godot for web sizing pains so I totally get it!

I think you nailed the Resident Evil 1 style. I was never very good with fixed camera angles and tank controls so I didn't get very far in it but the monster did manage to startle me.

It's nice! I liked the art style and I actually think that having the game be impossible to finish, is 100% in the spirit of Bad Directions.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks! I tried to balance the difficulty by making the enemies only move after the player moved (and the first enemy you encounter is even slower than that) but yeah, it's designed to get more hectic as the score gets higher.

Thanks! I tried to replicate the old timey arcade game feeling of ever increasing stakes and scores! Also, congrats on the high score! I think I'll take a snapshot of the scores at the end of the jam and post it permanently on the game page.

Thanks for the kind words, I'm a backend engineer by day so the online leaderboard was actually the easiest part, haha!

A really nice zach-like. I also liked the ability to make your own level and save them. Good job!

Excellent retro style sound effects! I used some in a game I made for a jam. Thanks!
