OH WOW, that is amazing tech! I've exponentially increased the amount of people I shredd---I mean saved! I tried my best to get to $200, but this is the best I could do. Thank you friend for helping me save more people o7

Thanks for playing our game!
Yeah, we should have explained the game better. After every player plays 4 cards, the game executes all the cards in order of placement. The move card and the kick out cards require input from the player though, so after clicking the button for which field you want to move to, only then does the game proceed to the next cards, and ultimately the next round. Below is a screenshot highlighting the buttons that you can click to choose where to move.
It's definitely still very broken, but I believe mostly the game is just confusing. Apologies for that. Thanks for playing anyway, and leaving helpful feedback!

Nice job! I love the pixel art, and goal was genuinely fun to reach!
The music loop was a bit short, but if there was maybe one more unique loop, I think it would have been really nice. I also really appreciate having a win screen!
I do kind of wish you could either use the mouse to plant, or hold e to plant carrots as you walked. I think because the carrots grow at an interval quicker than the player can plant, it wasn't really worth the money to spend on more plots. Maybe if carrots took longer to grow, or a different kind of carrot that was more valuable could only grow on the other plots, it would have been worth it to buy the other plots.
Overall, great job, I had fun!

Lol, yeah in the end I think the other AI players are probably just as confused as the player. I wish we had a bit more time to give them some amount of strategy, but fixing the game would probably be the first thing we would have done if we had more time.
Thanks so much for playing our game! Good luck to you as well, I really liked your game, and rated it. Great job, it was super unique and fun!
Ah, finally, a game that makes you feel good after playing! This game reminds me a bit of "Can Your Pet" with sort of playful language over an ultimately dark game premise.
But seriously, great job! I was only able to get to $104 before I decided to spare the rest of the town. Surprisingly fun to try to master. The first time I played I only got like $20, but continually improved which was pretty satisfying.
I loved the text on the slides, and the Wood Chipper scratched out to instead say "Keratin Extractor" literally made me laugh out loud! Also, the pixel art was amazingly done, great job!
Only critique I have is that the wood chip---I mean Keratin Extractor did completely halt the game for a second or two at the start of the second station. Probably just a small optimization issue, but for a three day jam, this was a very polished experience. Overall, fun game about keratin, carrot in, carrots in keratin
Thanks for player our game! Lol, yeah our game is quite broken and confusing unfortunately, but I appreciate that you were able to see the vision beyond the brokenness.
Also, I played, rated, and overall loved your game! You can see my feedback in my comment on your page, but I thought you all did a great job and made a clicker that was genuinely unique feeling!
Really unique clicker! Our team immediately came up with ideas for clickers, but none of the ideas were very unique so we went a different direction. So I'm a little jealous.
This game has lots of polish for a three day game jam: the music, the scrolling background, the awesome animations on basically every interaction.
I do sort of wish there was more you could do with the money, or a win/lose state, but I definitely had a lot of fun with this one. Great job!
Thanks for playing our game, and I appreciate the rating! Yeah...sorry it was confusing. This game was inspired by the mechanics of the card game "Colt Express", and it's just hard to design it in a way that is intuitive. So we definitely should have spent a bit more time making a tutorial in hindsight.
We actually named the game probably an hour before submitting, so I don't believe carrotalism even came up somehow, but I guess great minds think alike!
Awesome job! I loved the music, and the sound effect becoming like a lawn mower once you placed a bunch of carrots down was really funny for some reason.
I do wish there was maybe one more system: maybe a gate that prevents the bunny from eating the carrots that you have to click to remove, maybe a way to buy more bunnies, etc. But, for only being made in three days, I did have fun progressing through the carrot hierarchy all the way to platinum!
One thing, when I started the game the first time, for some reason none of the buttons worked and I couldn't buy any carrots. Not sure what happened, but refreshing the page fixed it.
Thanks for playing our game! Yeah, unfortunately, there's very few explanation of how to play our game, so it is quite confusing.
From your screenshot, it looks like you played a move card, and the game is waiting for your input of which field to move to. Below, I've edited your screenshot to highlighted the buttons that you can click to choose which field you'd like to move to. This will progress the game through the rest of the cards that were placed in the action list (card pile in the top right corner).

Apologies for the confusion!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we definitely needed to add some sort of tutorial because it wasn't obvious what you are supposed to do (something that really impressed me in your game by the way!). Also, accidentally placing a light after mining was a definite issue. Given more time we definitely would have fixed that annoying part. Also, appreciate the feedback with the confusion trying to click the buttons in the bottom left corner and accidentally buying upgrades when a button was over a valid tile. I honestly didn't run into that problem while play testing, so that's really valuable. Thanks again for playing!
Great game! I really enjoyed how the puzzles were implemented and it was interesting take on the bomb disposal type of games. I'm not sure if I'm dumb or if it was explained, but I could not figure out the combination lock whatsoever. The hint system for most of the minigames was sort of helpful, but I'm not really sure how it connects with the lock. Either way, great job!
Very fun and well paced game! The idea is pretty similar to our game, but I honestly feel your game did it better! One thing I would say could improve the game is a tutorial or some kind. It's a little confusing when new minigames are introduced and it's not completely obvious what to do. Overall, great job!
Great game! I love the detail put into the menu (such a great implementation of a menu) and the funny engravings on the head stones! I had a lot of fun putting poor skeletons into the meat grinder. One thing that would have improved the game for me is some kind of cue that a customer was waiting on you (bell audio or maybe UI on screen indicating "# of customers are waiting". Glad I was reminded to to play this one!
Great job, this was a fun game! I've never played this style of game before, but it was very engaging. I really enjoyed all the upgrade options. I wish there was like an endless mode or something, because once you get all the upgrades it's really satisfying mowing through enemies. Also, I think health regen might have been broken because even after level 2 regen I never went above 1 heart. Either way, really fun game with a great, consistent sound and art style.
Great game! The animations, art, and sound effects are very well done and consistent. Honestly, the style is so well polished. As far as gameplay goes, it was quite enjoyable. I kind of wish I could move the camera myself though because because sometimes I would lose zombies because they would wander off the screen. Really cool concept and game though!
Ok, I honestly lost track of time playing this game. I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to reach the end, but I had a blast the whole time. There were a couple times I got stuck, but knowing you could propel yourself with your gun made this just kind of a slight annoyance rather than a game breaker. Really great job!
Hello! So sorry for the delay on responding to your comment, but the short answer is no unfortunately. I outline why and explain what I learned from this game in a video on my YouTube channel if you are curious (linked at the bottom of this comment), but I do appreciate your comment and I hope that I can make things in the future that you will enjoy. Let me know if you have any further questions, I'll try to check these comments more frequently. Thanks!
