Thank you! The vibes were a bit random but glad you enjoyed them!

Thank you! We got the most British person we knew to do the va! 😂

This is amazing, what I wanna know is what engine was this made in??? Or was this just raw libraries, either way, this is so cool!

Woah. Great and unique use of the theme. I just wished I understood the countdown decreased more with each message check, but that's not a demerit to this game, that's me.

Fun time! I didn't quite get to the end, ran out of time as I reached the sun, but it was cool! I liked it! Used the countdown for a more narrative approach, nice! (Also yeah like another comment, the music is nice, fits the vibe of the game)

Immediately new it was peak when I saw it was PICO-8, anyway, loved it! Wish the countdown was an issue in the earlier waves, but oh boy did the difficulty crank up! I like the use of the theme as others have mentioned lol, it was fun, engaging and just plain enjoyable!

Overall great game, perhaps my favourite out of the ones I've rated, simply due to the clever use of the theme! Got a bit dazed by level 10, but other than that, its nice, intuitive, audios great, polish is fantastic, love it!!

Thank you very much for the constructive criticism 🙂‍↕️, this jam has shown me in particular how vital a good set of controls and player movement can be to a good game, which is something ill take into account in the future!

Thank you! We wanted the narrator to feel like a real guy you can mess with lol

The voice acting does really seem to be the star of the show lol

Art is great, love the silly vibes and the idea is cool! (I did not know there was a manual for components, that would've been handy to find out while I was playing XD)

Love the vibe, the art style is great, and the mechanics are easy to learn but can be used for some tricky levels.

Love this concept, the visual style is awesome, I think I just found the clocks a bit too tricky to time, but this is fantastic!

The concept is really cool! And I can imagine this being a really fun platformer/puzzle style game, just found the physics to be a bit too tricky to manipulate at times....

im glad! :D

thank you!

I like the art style!

So I've been working on a YouTube channel about GameDev, so I'll now post updates there and stuff. Here's the discord:

And here is my YouTube Page:

Yknow what, I might set up a discord for the game then maybe?

Thank you! Its a game I made a fair few years back, but found the old files so got back into making it haha

Okay good to note, with control responsiveness, any controls specifically? like moving, jumping item pickups etc? Sorry, just so I can nail the problem down!

Came back to this after the full game released yesterday... wow has a lot changed!

I got a really good game idea from this, would you mind if I published something made from this? Thanks :D

This is amazing for me, Downwell is one of my favourite games that really goes unnoticed, so seeing this sort of community support is awesome!

This is awesome!!!

Feel free to post comments and ideas to improve the game!
