Very good looking and good sounding! I had to disable the timer to beat the game unfortunately. Will try to beat it with the timer enabled after shipping my game! Good job! I can see your personal style in this game too <3

Great entry! As I told you some levels are genius! After playing it again I've noticed other small details, like the color choice between levels. There's a lot of love in this entry! Good job!

Friends saved! Good idea to give the player a clue on the number of remaining friends to rescue by positioning the rescued one in circle! Definitely worth further development!

Super art style! I love the color palette and the game plays really well. Great entry!

It simulates the sloth so good that I think I was inside the game. I can relate with the protagonist! Nice one!

Nice entry! I like that ice cubes subtract the amount of blankets stacked up. Makes sense! Keep it up!

Nice! I was able to beat the game! I like the camera movement and the "plot twist". Good job!

Too nice of a comment for what my "game" is in its current state. Thanks!!

The idea is to make few things reacting to the music:

1) within the trees I'd like to put the green/red leds like you used to find in stereo systems

2) depending how busy is the music  the background should react accordingly with a climax that eventually will lead to something funny that I already have in mind but don't want to ruin the surprise for wen it will be ready :D

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to try it, also I would like the sound to stop exactly when the pad is not pressed.

Another thing I want to add is a simple arpeggiator option.

Let's see if I'm able to do this! Thanks for trying it!

Great potential for a bigger game! Resting mechanic can play a big role if there will be something that gives often the urge to do it. Loved the night passage btw. Keep it up!

Lovely and awesomely executed as usual. The problem is it feels so good that I want more. Consider developing it:  more objects that can fall and something or someone that prevents that cat to have fun dropping stuff. Maybe when its owner enters the room, the  cat has to stop so that it doesn't get caught. Also more pricey stuff is harder to reach but gives more points...I'm just saying! Great potential for a bigger game for sure ;)

Thanks Ernesto! True, I'm investigating way the sound is not clean ;)

Thanks Xed! Hopefully once finished and debugged it will be better ;)

Hey Virtual Nomad! Happy that you tried it! Yes, definitely sound is not clean and I still have to figure out way. Also thanks for spotting the typo. Fixed it!

Nice! When the game started I thought where is the challenge here? I didn't have to wait much to have my answer :D!

Nice game! The final tomato to smash is the cherry on top of the cake!

Great concept and very good level design! The level editor at the end was a surprise, I will tinker with that!

Fun and well executed! Also the start screen art is amazing!

This game is awesome even though I don't know how to pass the poisonous pool. Lovely game! I will try again! I love the pixel art, very readable! Keep it up!

Edit: I have to praise the level design too!

Cool game! Keep it up!

Very nice game!

Hello Grappe (btw great name in my country it has a meaning and I think you know it ahaha) ! I love this portal sprite and I've used it in this tiny game. https://shatzune.itch.io/bubbleman Cheers!

Thanks Rheia! It was an awesome experience to see you playing my game and beating it! Much obliged!

hey nice idea! it would be great if the current note is shown all the time like a real digital tuner. Just a tip to expand on it! keep it up!

Thanks Brett! Your book has been a very valuable resource to learn DragonRuby. I've started following your book and ended up making a totally different game!

I've loved the concept and also the execution. Ther physics of the shopping cart is just awesome. Pixel art is also very nice and the effect of the car vibrating is awesome. Overall I think the difficulty is well balanced. The only thing I would like to see as an improvement is the possibility to skip the cutscenes and non-game screens. Of course they are all very nice (words and images) but after multiple try you want to go directly in game. Very nice entry though! Looking forward to seeing more games from you in the future!

Nice concept and ideal music for the atmosphere. I like the hints that the game provides to the player to guess which clock is the right one. Perhaps improve logo and start game button so that they are less blurry because the game itself is way more polished than those. I would love to see it expanded to see more variety of clocks or even scenes! Thanks!

Hey LeslieLlama, thanks for playing and for your feedback! I've thought about auto-fire but ended up keeping it this way to balance the difficulty. I'm considering it as a power-up though. Let's see! ;)

Good old Ironman Super Offroad vibes here. At least for me! Looking forward to try it!

Very interesting! I like many things in this entry: responsive attacks, lore/starting cutscene, music. I think it deserves to be expanded. In that case you might want to fix the fact that it is possible to have the camera upside down. In any case I had strong Metal Gear Rising Revengeance vibes here so much love for this game. keep it up!

I didn't know that game but from what I see the comparison makes sense! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing and streaming! It was cool to see someone playing my game live!

Great pixel art, color palette and music! I can see this game improve by adding more variety to the rooms and of course more foes! Well done!

Beautiful! Haven't beat the game yet but the concept is very cool and well executed! Keep it up!

I can beat only one boss for now! red one is hard core ahahah! great entry all game design based! make more bosses and more good games like this one!

Sooo good! Make this game bigger! ;) I like the machanic of replenishing ammo with the gnome bat! also the 2 sec without killing thing! good job!

Gubby you are a game design expert! With simple graphics (even though the color palette is well chosen) you succeded in making an addictive game with a unique (at least for me) mechanic. I wish I have these skills! I see you are great at game design also from how you managed menus, game modes and funny in-game sentences. I have no suggestion for you except to keep it up!

Still can't beat the boss, tonight I have to try with a controller as suggested! I will get there. The lance mechanic is a great idea and both art style and music make you wanna play this game more and more. Do you plan to expand on this? I can easily see how addictive it becomes with more levels. Why do <i have to go to work now?!?! hahaha

Thanks for playing it and for your precious tips! Player feedback was something I’ve tried to implement during the game jam but it was a very buggy implementation and I ended up removing it until I understand how to properly do it. The engine is still new to me…Definitely on my to-do list.
Leaderboard is a cool idea for replayability and retro/arcade feel. I should look into that!

I will try to replicate the bug you mentioned to fix it. This is totally unexpected. :(

Finally I’m also an arrows guy more than wasd, so rest assured that my games will always have that ;)

Thanks!

I’m so happy that you liked it also being a fan of your games. The plan is actually to improve and expand on it. Not before playing more other entries though ;)
