Nevermind I figured it out, you're supposed to not use the jar used to free Nina (the heroic woman) on day 27 from being pertrified till day 29 and then catch him.

I am also having trouble with that... I tried replaying the story without catching any slimes thinking the slime researcher wouldn't take the jar and I had to play till day 29 to use it on trevor before he gets bigger, She took the jar anyways saying it was full of all the speicimens she needed despite it being completely empty.
I also tried to catch him on day 31 as well, just gunked up my window making it really hard to look at the next customer.
I am kinda lost on how to catch him.
It's the only achievement I don't have. Otherwise great game!
