It worked!    :)

At this point, I think Zoe Storm is the go-to for cozy warm eggfic     This is such a cuddly warm teen romance story, with a wonderful redemption twist at the end.   (and suddenly things about "To Own The Libs" make a LOT more sense).   So many "aww"  and "squee!"  moments to warm the heart!

It's really hard to pinpoint what I liked most.   The discovering one's true self aspect is always lovely.   Coming up from ignorance into knowledge and understanding is lovely.   Overcoming generational and cultural bigotry   And the absolutely lovely polyamorous romance at the end!!!     

A very cute and touching story.   And there may have been a tear when she finally heard her *proper* name for the first time.      A very moving, heartwarming story.

First of your books I've read, and it was touching, and sweet, and very adorable.   And the scene where Lily comes clean to her friends and loved ones about her "lie" hit me very, very hard.   

I spent 31 years detransitioned due to abuse, lying to myself and others about who and what I really was, hating myself the entire time.  When I finally had the safety and security and courage to retransition two years ago, I felt like I had lied to those I loved, my friends, and particularly my friends who are trans as well.  It's still something I struggle with, even though I'm thrilled and happy to *finally* be the woman I am and always wanted to be.

So yes, that scene touched me very deeply.   And yes, my friends - particularly my trans friends - reacted much the same way as Lily's friends did.
