I like the music, and the weapon effects look cool, but I mainly just spam the dash over and over. The platforming is hard, but I realized I don't actually need to jump onto the platforms at all unless I want the dog to meet its master, of course. Even that was unnecessary, though, since I can still win the game without doing it.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! To unlock the door, you need to interact with the terminal in the room on the lower floor by pressing 'E'. I should have added indicators to let the player know the door was locked and that it could be unlocked at the terminal, but I was in a rush to submit the game at the last minute.
Hey, thanks for playing and for the feedback and suggestions! I uploaded a new build that fixes the block and slash issue while moving. Yeah, the doors can be annoying sometimes. Maybe I should use a tween or adjust the position directly over time in the process function instead of using animations.
Thanks for checking out my game and for the compliment! You are right, adding sound and music would be nice, but time was an issue. I might have overscoped a bit. There are a few things I had in mind but didn't get to implement, like the ability to heal, left-hand abilities, and boss fight. The level were also scaled back from what I originally planned.
This is for GDTV Game Jam 2026. This is my first jam and I thought the game will be submitted automatically after I published it since I clicked the submit button on the jam's page what with the congratulatory message for finishing the jam and what not. But, I was mistaken. Anyway, the game is not finished but it is playable and there is also a win condition.
