A REALLY GOOD and fun game! Even though I have terrible luck with the dice (getting shot up like Swiss cheese), I loved playing it!
The soundtrack with the loan shark's laughs is awesome, and the luck-based gameplay makes everything more intense. And the graphics… man, they're beautiful. I personally love this style—it's so smooth. My rating is 10/10 (I will beat the loan shark eventually, and there will be proof!).
Excellent game. Personally, I love games with that PSX vibe, so that alone won me over easily, without any effort.
But, looking at the rest, there are also many positive points. The atmosphere is really good, with the sound of the wind when you step outside, the vehicle noises are immersive, the sound effects are well-placed, and the gameplay is easy and intuitive. The story is cool and pretty neat with the twist at the end of the game. The moments of silence were also very well-timed; they create a lot of tension, making you think that at any moment, there might be a jumpscare or something that'll give you a huge scare.
Overall, the game is great. It was totally worth playing.
Just as Mediasaur himself said, the game was inspired by Fears to Fathom and the Puppet Combo titles. As a first game, I have to congratulate you, at the end I was scared and got very tense with the knocks coming from the main door.
With this game you can already have an idea of what to improve, such as soundtracks, a menu to help content creators (I, for example, accidentally clicked and had to quickly Alt+F4), perhaps putting it in a more pleasant way to open the doors, etc. Anyway, congratulations Mediasaur, the game is really fun and provides good suspense.
