Game was fun, especially once I realized I don't need to shoot everything and only threats that are actually aimed at the base. Visuals and audio are amazing and cool idea overall :D
Beautiful art, for the cutscene, UI and gameplay alike. very good music and sound effects, and a very original idea! Also combining mechanics like tomatoes to bait the angry NPCs into a bananas and such is so satisfying.
Great entry and good job to the whole team that worked on this game :D
Honestly very fun game, so many different mechanics and everything feels very smooth. The art is also very unique and gives a special vibe, and mixes well with the background music.
I will note that the freeze card says description not filled, which is I assume not intended.
Also it's hard to tell which walls allow you to walk behind them, and because they block your vision you can't tell where exactly you are and where the enemy is if it's behind it
Seriously high potential game, amazing job achieving all of that in such a short time :D
Thank you so much for the detailed review and constructive criticism! I'm glad you enjoyed the not-so-serious vibe. I agree that some NPCs can be a bit too confusing and maybe indeed we should have left a bit more headroom for mistakes and feedback to let the player know if they missed a good customer. Overall a combination of running out of time and of course just plain mistakes which is why play testers are so important.

Good job going for something complex like a card game for your first jam! As other comments mentioned a tutorial or explanation would go a long way but other than that really nice entry :D
The controls feel very smooth and drifting is crisp.
The music really fit the visuals, and the UI is awesome and has a great retro feel to it, which was really calming but also I was extremely stressed because of the cars chasing me so that was a great balance xD
Also you get bonus points for giving me a nostalgia trip as this game reminded me of an old game I used to play, called FFX Runner :D

Unless there is a bug we didn't catch you should be able to win even when missing multiple customers however duo to the time limit we didn't manage to implement a system that tells you how many honest customers you missed and how many liars you avoided so it can be a bit confusing.

This game gave me retro, PS2 style vibe and I loved it!
Shooting zombies was very satisfying, the audio matched the retro visuals and the whole vibe was spooky in the best of ways
I will mention however that I experienced a few lag spikes, but I still really enjoyed my time.
Also I didn't manage to find the secret ending :( but at least I got to have Derek save me :D
The art and atmosphere of the game is great! many small mechanics that add up and very polished feel to the game.
One small thing: when playing (not in the main menu when starting a game) the audio goes down to 0, which is a shame because I almost missed the beautiful background music and sound effects!
