Thank you so much, and sorry about the slowdown! You're right, it isn't just your laptop: the last versions got much heavier, even on the lowest settings.

I've just done a big performance pass for laptops and older computers. The next update should run a lot better, it uses much less memory, and the game no longer slows down when the frame rate drops. I'd love to know if it helps you.

To find out what's still holding your laptop back, could you send me one line from the game's log?

1. Launch the game once, up to the main menu, then quit.

2. Press Windows + R, paste %APPDATA%\ArsenalReforged and press Enter.

3. Open arsenal_reforged.log (with Notepad) and copy the line that starts with "graphics:".

It tells me your graphics card, its memory, your processor and the quality the game picked, nothing personal. Your laptop's model would help too, if you know it.

And thanks for the suggestions (the warning when someone builds in your territory, repairs, transport ships). They're on my list!

I apologize for the issues you ran into. The engine was initially targeted at modern hardware, but I'm doing my best to optimize it. In the meantime, I've pushed some optimization fixes along with an Android build, as my goal is still to make it run on as many devices as possible. If you run into any more performance issues, please let me know! :)

Thanks a lot, really glad you're enjoying it! That's a great idea, a "Random" option for AI generals in skirmish will be in the next update. A few lopsided matches sound like part of the fun!
