It was built on Linux. And ive got a lot of complaints about the keybinds I just wanted to make it more difficult but next time I'll fix those. Glad you liked it though.

Thanks a lot! I get what you mean about the virus minigame. I wish I had more time to flesh it out. Glad the ambiance worked for you though, I really appreciate it :)

Yeah, I didn’t have time to make the full Linux kernel meltdown happen, even though I’ve had plenty of those myself. As for the controls, I went with arrow keys to make it a bit more challenging, but I might add WASD support after the jam. Glad you liked the idea though!

Your game is actually polished and fun to play. It got hard quickly, but the hint says otherwise. Good job!

Thanks! I had fun coming up with the idea. There were so many creative takes on the theme, including yours. Really cool seeing everyone's interpretation.

Really cool concept. I liked the trading mechanics, and the overall flow felt smooth. The UI was clean too. Had a good time playing it! Great work.

Thanks a lot! I really liked your game too, the whole trading concept was cool and really well executed. Appreciate the feedback. I didn’t get time to fix the terminal scrolling or second run bug, but I’m glad the aesthetic came through.

I was gonna use WASD at first, but ended up going with the arrow keys to make it a bit more challenging. Enter and left click are used to shoot. Glad you found it fun, I just wish I had more time to make it longer.

The levers were supposed to turn off the vents, which stop you from floating after possessing an enemy. I found some bugs with them after submitting the game.

As for the damage you're taking, it's because you're touching the enemies. I realize now that I made the hitbox too small, which makes it nearly impossible to possess them safely. While I was developing, I could possess them without taking damage, so I didn't notice the issue in time.

I know I should have fixed that. Thank you so much for playing, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

It's good but performance wise, it's a little laggy. I have a good machine so i don't think it's on my side perhaps my GPU driver isnt updated

RTX3060, 16GB DDR4 RAM and i7-12700k CPU

That was quick, but you’ve got to build the game for the browser, or it’ll be disqualified.

Right? I'm obsessed with it

Well i did commented! You're going to win this jam anyways

No linux? Wish I had a chance to try this.

In a future

what happened?

Haha, you're good that was so close, I hope you'll get that money, It seems pretty cool game.

No way this was the exact game im making for the gamejam, but always who made first wins so I have to remake. Nice game anyways

(1 edit)
