Looking forward to it! Don't worry about it being clean perfect whatever - just make it YOU! <3

Hey hey, Shabello here! After last year's jam I realised I'd actually be a decent project lead - so this year I put a team together.

Team Alpha Crush comprises of myself and Estherdevil on visuals, Chibenobi with support from Lam on music, LimeyOtoko on narrative, Stevieboi and VincentSIFTD on Godot duties, and Balbod as game designer. Tho we all chip on on each others parts too ofc ^^.

I recently came across an article that talks about the WOW! signal - a rotating signal coming from somewhere in deep space and likened it to a lighthouse. When the theme of a crossover came up in the jam we knew we had to transport the warriors of Encouragevar there. I imagine Tales from the Astral Observatory to be a well beloved pulpy cosmic horror anthology - putting these He-Manesque characters in here would make a fun juxtaposition!

To manage scope and to maintain a consistent visual style we are building a classic pixel game which we think will have a fun gameplay loop.

For now, we can share this mockup title and one character portrait.

We hope the game comes together well, we're currently working throo character reimagines and building a prototype.

Excited to be leading a team in the jam and looking forward to what everyone else brings!

(OK here's fun lil extra - König punching ;D )

KILTER soundtrack by myself, Nemobody and GlowsSoftly ^^

The art throughout this game was ... imma say it

Astonishingly good <3

Just pure vibes maaaaan <3 Had so much fun with this one!

This game... damn... I enjoyed a lot of the games this year, this one took root in my heart and made me weep. It's a reminder that as we get older we always ALWAYS have to keep a part of our child selves alive... the story of Erika resonated so deep with me, I was in that position myself once... just stuck in a job going through the motions devoid of joy. Fortunately I found my escape in making my music - something just for me that i will NEVER turn into a job. And here I am contributing to the game jam in my own unique way with my music, keeping that youthful part of me alive, sparking joy, and isn't that the core of why we do this game jam? Never let them grind you down, find your joy! STAY WEIRD!

Thank you so much for this <3

Thank you <3 thats the track i am most proud of I think ^^

We really did our best to create a cohesive vibe for this entry - glad it seemed to have paid off <3
