tried the Ludum Dare Prototype, also gets stuck stuttering on daddy before I even get a chance to play. grumble grumble

used the same DL on my laptop & it runs fine.  still can't figure out why it's skipping on the desktop.

just ran into this exact same issue.  tutorial works fine but jumping into freeplay & choosing a game and daddy's moves just skip / get stuck. I even even get a chance to play.

happened w/ v5 of both the x32 & x64 versions.  i'm on brand new Win10 machine I'm setting up for our gameroom.  (Ryzen 5 3500, 16GB DDR4, GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER, Win10 v20H2 b19042.867 ) tried dicking around w/ compatibility mode w/ no luck.  tried redownloading.

if anyone has a suggestion, my son would greatly appreciate it.  for now he has the online version to keep him busy. thanks
