A really well put together learning mission; I wish I had this when I first started running FIST!

Oh I gotta run this with my group for sure, one player is interested in refereeing a game themselves sometime and this might be the perfect in.

Great style, interesting mechanics. I'm a little confused on the codeword system but a reread will probably fix that.

Thank you!

When I was first working on the STRAIN concept, I actually didn't have a way for an infection to kill the player in mission. The first concept would have it kill the character after the mission is complete unless a cure was found, but a suggestion I received was to add in the infection timer, to provide more pressure in the mission itself.

In SURVIVAL HORROR itself, there will be several items that can be placed or found in a mission that can buy your character time, cure the infection, or treat the infection in a way that allows you to keep the trait. The trifold is relatively condensed with only 6 LOCKS, but a proper mission using the system will likely have double or triple that amount. Factor in the actual chances of infection and the power you get while infected, and you get a mixture of high risk and high reward. As well, each system is gonna be designed to be modular, so if want the infection to spread only at key moments or based on vibes, that is just as valid as puzzle progression!

Great little supplement, a good addon to an existing game or the setup to something bigger. It might work well with the GROUNDS submission...

Absolutely stunning. Great art, great systems, and more than enough variation for all sorts of approaches. I can see this mission ran so many different ways, and it leaves with a good connection for future work with DEAD LETTER.

Concur with the immersive sim vibes - The premise is simple, the goals tangible, and the methods opposite of a railroad. I can see this mission going all sorts of ways, up to and including the first failure in a cold war turned hot. I'm definitely gonna try and run this sometime soon!

A great trifold with cool style and fun mechanics fit neatly in a small package.

I love content that adds and expands on bases FIST agents can use and recuperate in, and this is a wonderful and quirky addition to my collection! I'm definitely gonna try and work this into my game at some point.

Bonus points for the 'Coffee AU' wordplay.

Simple to add-in to a game but with enough substance to stay cool! I'll definitely see about using it someday, and i'm curious how if you could do a whole mission centered around air combat.
